Bray will never

Some of you act like there is zero potential for growth. Look at the coaching staff Bray has been playing under. He absolutely has the physical tools to be a star at the next level, he just needs fine-tuning elsewhere. He'll be working with the best coaches in the sport and will be compensated to get better. Generally people mature with time. It's really not that hard to wish the guy luck. He stuck it out during the worst stretches in Tennessee football history. But I suppose this is the norm for our idiotic fanbase.

Thank you!

I do like Bray's chances this year in the draft versus the talent for the following year. I am sure his agent is giving him sound advice as opposed to "fans" trashing him. He's a punk kid that needs to grow up....there are a ton of them that have entered the NFL

will someone tell me what Bray did on the field to make one think he is ready for the NFL other than having a cannon for a arm Ryan Leaf had a cannon for a arm also?

What does it matter? His physical stats will get him drafted and placed on a roster. From there it's up to him. Wish him luck and move on. No reason for these kind of butthurt threads.

Casey led UT to a 5 ot victory over alabubba, that's real leadership ! Refuse to lose !

Ainge had three picks against Bama and on the third one, raced down to tackle Castille and stop a pick six that would have won Bama the game prolly

There wasn't that much hype for Bray. The only other team who wanted him was San Diego St. (I think). As for the other point you made, they only had one coach and had stability. My hat's off to Bray. I hope he does well.
he had Dooley , chaney, and Hinshaw the 3 years he was here so what other fake excuse do you have i know kiffin recruited him but him and Dooley got here the same time and Bray had alot of potential he just never applied himself and thats the issue

Or a therapist. Like Ainge said on his show Bray is NOT ready for the NFL. He said the NFL knew about his drug and alcohol dependency not tennessee. Said he sent a text about getting drunk after practice and they knew about it. I hope the kid learns to be an adult and make better decisions.

OH. I did not realize that Ainge made his living evaluating college football players for the NFL. If he does, why the hell does he have a radio show in Knoxville?

You did nothing but crap all over him the entire thread which you titled "Bray will never" with an OP that reads "start in the NFL".

Bray will struggle because of maturity and lack of mobility. Addressing the former is key for him; otherwise, he will be a turnover machine. He would be well served as a backup somewhere for several years.

Maybe because he has been down that road and he knows first hand. Plus he is gonna be going down the same road as ainge: a developmental QB.

Arian Foster will never be an NFL starter. Hell, I doudt he will even make a roster. He fumbles too much.

Chavis will never be a defensive co ordinator in a winning college program. Hell, he runs the prevent defense too much. Florida, Alabama or LSU will never hire him. He will end up at a bottom feeder college.

Bout sums it up.

We'll see. First, Casey had nowhere the talent Bray has. Casey was a winner, but did not have the physical tools Bray has. Ainge was too screwed up on drugs.

Wish Bray all the best and hope he does well.

Yep, reads like a scorned ex that can't let go on good terms.

New coaches with a new system coming in. It's best for both Bray and UT to say thanks and part ways now.

Clean slate for both sides.

THIS is why I don't believe he will make it in the NFL--and having watched every game he played for the VOLS. Last year's numbers look the same before he was injured...It's obvious to a blind man--very poor performance against better competition, pads stats against weak sisters!

Tons of room for improvement, but just don't think he will. He can't read defenses and can't make correct decisions under pressure. That FACT, coupled with his LACK of mobility and you have a prescription for FAILURE--He just ain't that good!

Now--if only the NFL had teams like the bottom four on the list--BRAY IS ALL-PRO!

The three rookie QBs having success in the NFL are athletic, smart, good leaders, and MOBILE. :salute:

The ONLY reason you guys think Bray will make it is because he is a VOL and he has a strong arm!

In SEC games the only two teams that Bray didn't surpass the defenses averages were Miss St. and Vandy. So that means that against every single team we played he put up better numbers than they allowed. Of course his numbers aren't as good against SEC competition as they are against weaker teams. And everyone comparing him to QBs of old, when are you going to wake up and realize that UT is not the UT of old lately. The overall teams and defenses those other guys got to play with had a lot to do with the success. If you put this Bray led offense with the 05 defense you would all be singing his praises all the way to the SEC title game. Wake up and realize that the struggles have not been strictly on Tyler.
