Bray will never

Bray does know NFL takes drug tests more serious than Dooley did.Be great to see him make something of himself. But right now has maturity level of a 16 year old.Playing for money is a whole lot different than what he has shown on a less than consistent career here

He'll be starting by his third year and be drafted in the top 3 rounds. I don't think you watch the NFL. Bray put up great numbers and has the talent. Ryan Tanneyhill did not have great games against great competition. He was a top ten pick, is starting and doing OK. TB has more talent than several NFL qbs who start or back up.

start in the nfl .
if ainge and casey couldnt make it no way in hell bray does

Bray will start. Bray will be in the league for a while.

IF he gets a decent coach. Someone that can help him where Dooley's pathetic ass failed.

Bray is better than every QB on the JETS roster so do you really think he can only last 2 yrs?

There is no way Bray falls out of the top 45 picks

Are you kidding me?

Tebow WON 2 NC in college. Tebow beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in a playoff game in the NFL!!!!

Bray's biggest wins are against NC State, Vandy, Ole Miss, and Kentucky while padding his stats against pathetic competition from Buffalo, Akron, Cincinnati, etc...

Bray runs into his own lineman and fumbles against UGA with the game on the line. Now tell me--just examine the record yourself--what are Bray's stats against SEC competition? 12 or 13 ints vs. how many TDs???

I stand by my statements 100% and we will see if Bray is taken in the first 45 picks or not--heck fire--Bray may not even be taken until the 5th or 6th round! :salute:[/QUOTE]

Tebow cant make NFL throws....end of story

I think the jets starting Greg Mccleroy over him should tell you all you need to know. Also the national championship gators and the denver broncos played great D unlike the 2010-2012 vols.

Also in 8 sec games plus NC state(9 total games)
Bray:

21 td
11 int

averaged 263 yards per game

In 8 sec games plus Ga tech ( i dropped auburn for a better comparison as they are no better than troy)

A. Murray:

19 td
7 int

averaged 258 ypg

Bray is by far the best pro QB prospect in the SEC

"BIG WINS" are a lot easier to come by when your team defense isn't one of the worst in the ncaa

All Bray needs to improve on is film study, read defenses better, pack on 30lbs of muscle, quicken his delivery, have more pocket awareness, quit partying, and become a better team leader.

So you're saying there's a chance!

--Yeah, it tells me that Ryan is an idiot and on his way out in New York!

You know--the numbers are up there and objective: I never said anything about Murray--he ain't NFL caliber either--as the old saying goes: You just can't fix stupid! :salute:

I would never say never...

I'm sure no one thought Tom Brady would do what he did. Not saying Bray is Brady but never is too strong of word to apply in this situation.

Who do you consider NFL ready?

It's really up to Bray on how good he can really be. All the resources have been given to him. You look at the successful young QB's going into the League they are dedicating themselves to learning the Art of the game of Football. The only question I would have for Bray is," are you willing to sacrifice a certain lifestyle to go to that next level", :shades:eek:r go the Mark Sanchez route?

he should have stayed and got a year of being coached by a good coach

Staying at UT to waste away on the sidelines while Jones implements his spread option would have been beyond stupid. He's best to go cash in as best he can right now while some if his good performances are still in recent memory. I agree he could have benefitted from another year in college, but the reality is that his skillset wouldn't have a place in Jones' offense.

I think there is more to him leaving early then just the money. The money isn't all that great outside the 1st round. Just curious if he might be being lead to go pro seeing as there will be a new offense in place. I do wish him luck though.

Always chuckle when VN says Money not so good in NFL.Minimum is what 300K +.Who on here makes that, especially at 21 yrs old

Bray can't make NFL throws unless you count the ones he just dropped back and rocketed em in there and somehow the DB's didn't get a hand on. He was more lucky than good and that doesn't work in the NFL.

He will be fine. There are very few great QBs, and even if all he ever becomes is serviceable that's still better than most QBs in the NFL. Let alone people in general.

The NFL is no place to "learn" how to stand strong in the pocket. No place to "learn" how to be a team leader. No place to "learn" how to go to the quick read off a corner blitz. If you are going to the NFL to play quarterback, you better know how to do those things already, and Bray does not. There are a LOT of strong arms out there.

You did nothing but crap all over him the entire thread which you titled "Bray will never" with an OP that reads "start in the NFL".

sometimes the truth hurts but what i said is real .does he have more raw talent than all the qb,s i mentioned yes did he work hard in the study room no did he admit to not watching film yes . it is disturbing to me that a kid with as much potential as he had to piss it away . if he had the hart like rudy, or tebow he would be a great qb but in the 3 years at ut it looked like he never tryed or cared.

its his right to do what he wants to do and go pro.

its my right to state my opinion and talk facts

i dont thank he gave his all to ut or i wouldn't have post this thread. his tenure a qb was very disappointing on and off the field

He can if he focuses on learning the game and stops trying to rely on his talent alone

If he does, he could be good

If not, he will be the next Jeff George.

All arm, no game

maybe closer to a David Klingler, with some Ryan Leaf sprinkled on top.

Bray is gonna have a tough time commanding the respect of an NFL huddle.

And people wonder why some guys in the NFL don't rep UT harder.
what you think fans are supposed to do sit back and take a players crap threads like this happen to people that deserve it you get what you put in and people get what they deserve.

and as a player he reads stuff like this then he needs to look at his self and fix it this crap aint the fans falt everything negative about him is mental .

the NFL is more brutal than I he should focus on the CB,s and MLB and not fans.

and by the way the nfl fans and media is way more harder on you than a ut fan or ut media god don't let him go to philly
