BREAKING: Syracuse investigating report that Asst coach Molested former ball boy

One of the oddest parts of this story is the fact that the abuse continued until Davis was approximately 27 years old. That's strange for a couple reasons...

One is obvious...why in the hell did Davis allow the abuse to continue until he was that old?

The other oddity is that Fine remained attracted to Davis even as he grew older. Most pedophiles are exactly that...attracted to children. Once the child reaches a certain age, the offender usually disassociates themself with the child. That's not the case here. Perhaps Fine is a homosexual (or bisexual, since he is married) in addition to being a pedophile. I guess that's possible.

Will be interesting (and ugly) to see what develops in this case.

My guess is Davis is hung like a donkey, and that's what Fine is about. My two cents. Just throwin it out there. Ugly as it sounds.

Boeheim doubles down:

The second is the first guy's cousin? Yeah, this is going to go well.

Boeheim not dodging the subject and not waiting for lawyer protected speaking is a positive sign that, hopefully, nothing happened.

Tbh, when I saw the age of 27, jilted lover came to mind.

I'm going to stay in the middle on this until more info comes out.

The fact that we are having this conversation about another possible sex crime is just sad.

I guess we have talked about child molestation so much lately that we can joke about it now?

That's a damn strong response.

That's the response of a guy who's absolutely confident in his legal situation, and wants to pound this story down before it starts bleeding his program to death from a thousand cuts. Either that or a guy who's guilty of a coverup and is trying to drive the agenda to make the reporters go away. Given what we know so far, my money's on the former.

I agree.

It is but what do you expect him to do, he has seen what has happened to as legendary a coach as there will ever be in any sport.

He has hit the point of no return if he is lying, he can't come out and say..." Yeah, I saw him in his bed, thought nothing of it".

It would be the end of his career if even admitted to that.

He could have come out and said, "This is an ongoing investigation and University legal counsel has advised university employees to not publicly comment until the investigation is concluded."

You don't straight out say "This guy is completely lying" unless you are pretty sure nothing wrong happened.

You're right, he could give the standardized lawyer prepared statement but it is not nearly as convincing as what he came out and did.

I'm not saying that he is lying or that there is any truth to the allegations but sometimes, like mentioned earlier, when someone is lying, there are overly adamant in their position to the point of anger, on the other hand he could just be angered cause he knows for a fact that it's not true.

We'll find out eventually.

Oh, come on...

People can and will say anything to save their own ass.

Let's just say that Jim did witness him in his bed but the only people who know about it are Davis, Fine and Jim.

Therefore making Jim the key witness in all of this, could he not lie and try to cover it up to save his own ass?

Now, like I said, I will stay in the middle untill there is more info to actually form an opinion but to say that just cause he was adamant that he is telling the truth is a little naive to me.

But he said the men lied about the child molestation too. I think that says a little something. Obviously way too early to make judgements, but still.
