Brent Venables could be our next DC

If Banks left for bigger and better things, getting Venables as DC replacement would be like hitting the Powerball jackpot.

Do you know something, or is it just assumed because it’s the norm? Case in point, John Chavis never desired to be a HC and was content just being a DC.

What, you would not take Brent Venables as defensive coordinator? Mind-boggling even though it's not going to happen. I would take Venables all day over Banks who is living off Rodney Garney. The last I looked on here Willie couldn’t coach and Banks played soft coverage, what happened is talent.

And with talent, Banks is able to play the coverages he wants to play.

I believe I heard that Seth Littrel the newly fired oc was in Heupel’s wedding. He will probably end up on our staff.

I do not think Banks is leaving this year. I think he knows that he and Heupel can win a championship together.

If you can get a 4 million dollar a year HC job you take it.

OK fired their OC today and he’ll be next if things don’t turn around. Would hate to lose Banks, but would be happy for him if he got a HC job (if he wants to be a HC) because there will be some teams calling once the season is over. Venables would be a good hire
