Brian Randolph Commits

Just taking honors and AP classes shows initiative, even if he is making B's with some C's mixed in. Shows h doesn't mind working hard.

Also...in my experience, there is only a 1 pt. bump for these classes, so if he's making C's, he would need to make at least an equal number of A's in those sort of classes, no?

I know some schools will give you 5 points for an A in honors and 6 in AP. It just depends on their system.

Reel 'em in Dooley and crew !!! I'm proud to have our current coaching staff here in place. They are GENUINE. Not a bunch of FLY-BY-NIGHTS.

Worley's visited like 7 times so he must be stalking. :) Who knows, he might pull the trigger today too.

Man i hope so.If we can get him to commit its downhill from there.A good quarterback always seem to get the ball rolling recruiting wise.

Here's a quote from his coach after he commited.

"He's everything for us. Last year he had 138 tackles and 1300 yards rushing. How good can he be if he just plays one position. As a sophomore he didn't get alot of carries at running back and he was an absolute hammer free safety. He's so physical. He got a little fatigued this past year because he played every snap for us."

Sounds like a team player in every since of the word.Goes back to the high character policy of Dooley again.

Randolph is scored a 78, which in turn = a 3***, if he gets to a 79 then he will be a
4****! Also Tom Smith who committed today is rated a 76 so he is also close to a 4****. It's a numbers game for those people who want to bash just cause he is not a 4 or 5 Star, understand the scoring system before you bash a recruit!!!!!!!!!!!!! GBO!!!!

More great news. Kid is a player. On another note, people, stop looking solely at stars this early in recruiting. They don't mean a whole lot unless we are speaking of the top 30-40 guys in the nation.

Great pick-up. Hopefully we'll see him in Orange.
