I don't know if this point has already been made but it is a whiskey/bourbon barrel, not beer. You know, since Tennessee is famous for whiskey and Kentucky for Bourbon.
I doubt either administration is willing to step forward to put their name behind reintroducing the beer barrel, no matter how hypocritical it is that we now sell $15 domestic light beer in our stadium.

I say no way! The sight of the barrel alone has been clinically proven to encourage consumption of copious amounts of alcohol. What is wrong with you people!!? OMG!
Since retiring the Barrel in 98, UK would have taken it only 3 times this during perhaps the worst stretch in our history. Even if we did relive the tradition, when would they ever be able to win it?
