Vaccines are a damn miracle. They’re not enslaving anyone. They are also part of a system that keeps humans enslaved to medicine, vaccines, and insurance premiums. But don’t think for a moment that I’m not thankful for medical professionals. I certainly am.
Is it a covid year that he has? Injury won't end his career, but he may not be the same for his final season, if he comes back. It's mental not physical and unfortunately, sometime the mental part is worse than the physical. It'll take quite a lot of game action to trust that ankle.Yep, and he has another year of eligibility left so…

The fracture/distal dislocation is actually the best injury that he could have sustained (in comparison to long bone fx, ligament, complete knee, etc…).I Fade I’m a tad disappointed with the flippancy of your statement. The injury appears to be severe enough that hoping for normal function as opposed to continuing his career in football may be best outcome. He will be fine - serious injury but not at all to the level of ending his career like most of the hand wringers on here believed
But yes, our for profit health care system does. And we’re too dumb to figure it out.
The cost of a medical degree is what a lot of people don’t understand. The years and the student loans involved in it are substantial. If you’re just primary care are you even making that much. Specialities of course are making good to great money. Plenty of people can go to trade school and make good money without the substantial loans. You realize tho that its not one or the other? You can be in medicine to both help people and make tons of money.
There are very few who would incur the cost of a medical degree and then not want to make a really good living to make up for it.
Yeah, I didn't really want to argue people, but I had pictures, and you could absolutely see his ankle was shot. Like I said, I didn't know if anything else was, but I knew the ankle was broken. Unfortunately the pictures are floating around Facebook, so I'd say many have seen them by now.As several of us acknowledged, ankle. Guess I get to keep my screen name (and profession).
As physicians, we are always learning. And what I learned last night in this thread are two things. One, people that work in the emergency room as orderlies or checkout staff are not “medical professionals“ and should not be rendering opinions. Two: It’s shocking to me that we have individuals that are voicing their displeasure over insurance issues and their own ignorance about vaccines and projecting that onto physicians. Anyway, Go VOLS!
