Bruce Feldman and Tim Brando criticize the SEC's handling of LSU/Florida

Well, it is a plan. They both or the conference would have to agree/decide to do it, followed by the smaller schools being paid buyouts.

It's still feasible, but they or the conference would have to make up their minds on it this month.

South Alabama is a FBS with a 3-2 record with one victory over Miss State already. They are looking to go to a bowl and doubt they will take a buyout and possible risk missing out on going to a bowl. Not saying they beat LSU but I am quite certain taking a buyout is not as simple as you make it sound.

Again, not contacting either school is not a plan, it is an excuse.

English is my second language. What's your excuse?

Butch still begged them to play the game. Florida is willing to play the game. LSU isn't. As I said before, on November 19th. Conference insurance would take care of the buyout of USA and Presbyterian.

According to LSU's AD, Joe Alleva, this is a "flat out lie". His words, not mine. Apparently LSU was willing to do anywhere, anytime. McElwain and Foley are scared to play. Period.

Butch has nothing to do with this, YOU'RE deflecting from the fact that Florida has no interest in playing this game and is doing everything in their power to backdoor into Atlanta. Every single team in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina has found a way to play or reschedule this weekends games with one exception. You guys are a bunch of *******, that's English slang for vagina.

Correction, Butch HAD nothing to do with this until he opened up his pie hole.

So they want LSU to give up a home game? Sounds familiar.

So it's acceptable if UF gives up a home game, but not if LSU loses a home game? As it sits, we already lost a home game.

And you can believe in the tooth fairy too if that's your desire. He's been caught lying last season and had to backtrack regarding Miles. Both teams are banged up right now, not just Florida. But keep your tinfoil hats on.

Why not play it Sunday or Monday? It could've been done easily if Foley wanted the game to be played.

So you only respond to one aspect of my post after I unload on you? Pretty accurate representation of your football team, a lot of talk, but just a bunch of pu$$ies.

It all comes down to the conference hq to me. Make it clear if the teams don't work it out and play the game or they're not eligible for the championship game

No one is asking Fla to give up a home game. The LSU offer to play in Baton Rouge was after Foley revealed his team's unwillingness to play. And you know that. Just play it another day. But the cowards at the Fla AD know what's coming.

Florida is willing to play, but as of Wednesday and Thursday no one knew where the hurricane was going. They still don't and most of the east coast of Florida got lucky. Northern coast got some good flooding and a lot of downed power lines. Why give up a home game when if the roles were reversed they wouldn't do the same thing?

I can't control what drivel comes from your mouth(or in this case keyboard), but I try to speak civilly. It's a sad state of affairs that you can't reciprocate. But hey, keep lowering the bar for your mighty Vols.

As far as a Sunday or Monday game goes, there were reports of gas stations running out of gas as of yesterday. Lots of people from south Florida are already in central Florida due to mandatory evacuation. Hotel rooms are already booked. It's not as simple as turning on a switch.

Florida totally mismanaged this situation from the get go. How there was no contigency plan is mind blowing. I understand 11/19, but I don't blame LSU not wanting to play that game before they play aTm 5 days later. Never mind the fact that it's going be 90 degrees and sunny tomorrow, yet South Carolina and UGA will play Sunday. Duke, unc and Nc State are all playing tomorrow during the thick of the storm, but you guys slow played it all week. What a joke.

Alleva was quick to offer Baton Rouge, either Tuesday or maybe Wednesday. Foley was confident enough that the game would be played in Gainesville until Thursday, when things "fell apart" per the LSU AD.

The storm is circling around and next Wednesday it should be back off the Florida coast. Someone needs to tell Missouri now that they have an extra unplanned bye week coming up.

Tanner isn't exactly the brightest bulb(he hired Muschamp after watching him fail at UF). The governor of South Carolina already said earlier this week that first responders would go where they need to go(emergency situations and the like). And the South Carolina players left their hotel rooms to help accommodate the Georgia players. Which is a nice gesture no doubt, but doesn't that raise a question as to what else is being compromised?

Talk about sunny and 90 all you want, but it's not just the storm that screws things up. It's the aftermath(flooding, downed power lines, empty gas stations, roads full of traffic WITHOUT a game, etc.).

Your story fell through when FSU and Miami kept their game on the schedule. The mighty gators and. LSU are the laughing stock of college football.

Florida should've been in front of this, there is no excuse.

South Carolina's game that was moved to Sunday makes this look like a bunch of excuses.

Pretty sure Missouri would be a 40-point underdog against that bye.

Let's just dispense with the pleasantries. Florida is a damn low life school ran by low life cheating sons of beotches. They found an excuse to not play their toughest game and they are sticking to it.

These kind of things and their disgusting, vile fans are why I hate that school more than any in the SEC.

I hope Florida loses the rest of their games.

A freaking-men to that. They are the sleaziest bunch of losers in the SEC and have been since Urban was there. I hope they never recover from these past few seasons and go back to bottom feeding where they obviously belong.

Hell we didn't even buy out games like Oregon when we knew we were going to get our ass beat. We took it like men. They have no idea how to even attempt to be me men so I guess it's moot.

Florida is most definately not willing to play. You team are a bunch of chicken **** cowards who would rather legislate instead of manning up and taking their ass whipping. Again.

You will not go to Atlanta anyway because Arky or Ga will beat the hell outta you anyway even if your gutless team is too afraid of LSU

And you can GTFO of our board with your Gator bull****

Yep they are probably. But if FLA can play this hurricane crap again then they might be able to stretch out some more wins.

Maybe two more will hit the state when they have to play Fla St and Miami.

There might be a tropical storm somewhere in the world that these cowards can use to get out of playing Ga too.
