Kids are heading to Disney World today in Orlando with their Mickey Mouse hats and enjoying all the activities. Meanwhile ... we have a football team safe at home.

If you remember, we were taking a knee on their goal line at the end of the game with a double digit lead. Looking back now after their actions this week, wish HC Jones would not have shown compassion and stuck another TD in there and hung 45 on them.

"Fineout noted that local law enforcement should still be available to assist with the 8 p.m. contest, but entities such as Florida Highway Patrol -- which typically escorts buses to and from games -- could be missed."

I'll bet the busses are able to find the stadium.

You're chicken ****. Accept it and move on

You guys think that Foley made this decision all by himself. Foley, Alleva, and Sankey all were in the conference call and nobody argued with the decision to postpone the game.

Alleva is the same guy that botched Miles firing last season. Alleva is also the same guy that whined about having Florida as a permanent rival. LSU AD Joe Alleva blasts SEC decision on permanent, cross-division foes in football | NOLA.com

So now Florida is too soft for LSU?

Both teams are equally at fault. UF is using this to an unfair advantage and putting both the institutions and the SEC in a bad light. The SEC. should protect its image and pound both schools.

And yet the game will be played.

Here is a pic of a happy family ready to enjoy the joy of Disney World in Orlando as a college football team is tucked away safely on campus 100 miles away.

Every fan base in the SEC is laughing at the Chicken Lizards now. All Florida does is talk but they're afraid to play.

I ran into a fellow Vol fan at the store today and he said he heard on TV this morning from sec commissioner that the game would be held Nov 19th since both teams play non conference teams that day

Yep, South Alabama and Presbyterian will get buyouts..I also wouldn't be surprised to see the LSU vs A@M game moved from Thanksgiving to Saturday.

I doubt that it will be played.

LSUs AD is saying no to that right now -- whining about 3 road games in a row and losing a home game -- I dont really blame him since they actually wanted to play at UF today- Sunday or Monday

I thought he said in an interview yesterday that Florida never offered that despite what was being reported

They very well should have played this game one of those 3 days. Probably Sunday night would have been the best one to choose.

It's turning into a big circus about it. This stuff shouldn't happen. If it wasn't a conference game so what? But it is & they need to work it out.

You guys are being ridiculous. At the time they had to make a decision, the models had the eye coming on shore in Melbourne, exiting in Jax as a cat 4. Had those models held true, you'd have had 100 mph + winds in Gainesville for at least a few hours. Plus, you'd have been dealing with massive traffic and accommodations problems, not to mention power issues and law enforcement and security problems.

As lucky as we were, there were 600,000 homes without power in central Florida, as of this morning. The decision to cancel the game was correct. And it's not even close.

I'm sure something will get worked out. But in the meantime you look incredibly immature whining about the absolutely right thing to have done.
