You're obviously a racist. Your beloved raw numbers say Tony Jones is vastly superior to Bruce Pearl. Hell, they were coaching the exact same team and Jones outperformed him. Why you got to try to keep Jones down?
He was starting 3 and 4 freshmen at a time in the Big Ten.And numerous schools.
Would you like to tell me what happened to O'Neill when he went 5-25 at northwestern? I legitimately don't know and that seems to be an abnormal season for him. He's usually around or a little over .500.

This is truly enlightening.
I thought wins and losses were how people distinguished good coaches from bad.
Apparently, it's about what players you recruited that someone else won with. Winning without players you missed out on is bad. Winning with recruits you lucked out on is also bad.
Getting your year end kicked while providing a lot of notes to a future coach is good. Setting a school record for ncaa tourney appearances is bad.
I think I've got it

According to the Pearlophiles, the only reason a person wouldn't choose to bow at The Altar of Bodypaint is antisemitism. I'm just applying their standards to the obvious slighting of Tony Jones.
I'm just making sure I get my shots in on the Pearlophiles while I can. They are going to be as extinct as dinosaurs very soon.
Yeah, Cal fans still revel in the Todd Bozeman days. People will see Pearl for what he's always been. Trash. Once they no longer feel duty bound to support him, they'll get off the boat in a hurry. For some reason, I doubt people forget an elite 8 bid, Chism, Lofton's excellent seasons. If Pearl is fired, you will hear about him for years unless someone comes in and outshines him. I don't expect that to happen.

Regardless of actual coaching performance and a history of being fired at multiple coaching gigs, the Hat Nation followers, or Hatophiles, will defend O'Neill to the death because hatvol deemed him a good coach.

I enjoyed those years. I'm also deriving great pleasure from watching the personal and professional destruction of Bruce Pearl. It doesn't have to be one or the other. If I ever forget Wayne Chism and Chris Lofton's years here I hope people put me out of my misery. It was my understanding that you agree with me on that.

If that comment came from someone I thought had even a modicum of intelligence, it would give me reason for pause. Since I assume the 35 in your username is a fair approximation of your IQ, I'm laughing.
