I agree. Money talks to the big name's out there. However, I see UT having a lot more to do than just handing out tons of cash to get a big name coach. TBA was a joke on game days until Pearl got here. I think UT has to prove over a longer period of time it will support this program.

Tennessee has been in the Top 20 in attendance for almost every one of the last 45 years. The idea the program hasn't gotten support is asinine. Given the plethora of idiots Dickey hired, the level of support was staggering.

The original post was asking about coaches that made the same amount as BP, tho. It also has to be assumed they would be willing to coach here.

That's not remotely the correlation. Look at the schools paying salaries comparable to UT. Look at the quality of coaches they have. It's not a difficult equation to follow.

Can't keep a job and has been a loser just about every where. The only reason he's a USC is no else wanted the job. Give him two more years and USC will be looking again. I hated basketball under him here. We played good defense, but we had no clue on how to run any kind of offense.

What everyone forgets is Bruce didn't get caught doing anything. The NCAA asked he lied they went away and then he turned himself in. His total punishment by the school and SEC way out wieghs what he did. Slive has started down a slippery slope here that will catch up to him.

TOS? What is that? Ive provided some good info concerning Chris Jones, Adonis Thomas, and other bits of info on other mid-south area recruits. Ive also commented on the football game in Memphis a few weeks ago.

Really? He wasn't caught? Because I swear the NCAA had pictures of him at his house with the players.

That was a secondary violation, he lied about that and the NCAA believed whatever he told them and they went away. He then went to MH and told him what he did.
