bruce to busy doing this stuff to teach defense and free throws

I love it when people vastly overestimate the percentage of UT fans and alums who give the first damn about women's basketball.

I'm not overestimating anything.
I've met plenty of UT fans who don't care at all about women's ball. When I said "support," I meant support of her position as coach and of her as a person. I've never heard anything negative before.

BTW, she was also on the committee that hired Buzz in the first place. As far as I know, MH didn't involve her in the next search. The only other thing she's done that's disappointed me was to end the UConn series.

Yeah their constant superb attendance and
Large following everywhere they go strongly
Support your logic

The logic is simple. I was at UT for most of seven years for undergrad and law school. Never once did I even consider attending a Lady Vol game. Neither did any of my friends, two of whom dated Lady Vols. Make Lady Vol fans pay the freight required to get men's tickets. Of the probably 500 men's season ticket holders I can think of off the top of my head, maybe 10 have Lady Vol seats. I'll consider that a large enough sample size. They draw people for the same reason Chuck E. Cheese does. It's cheap. Well, that and the fact that a certain demographic, that is as much as 20% of the population depending on which study you believe, seems to support the Lady Vols at a high percentage.

I don't argue any of what you just said, but what does that have to do with hating something you don't care about. Or someone for that matter.

I support the mens golf team and tennis
But have never been to a home game.
But I am a vols fan so I support them.
I hate hockey but went to try and see the
Hockey team at the s e c champ in pelham
Because it was close. I haven't been to a football
Game in 3 years since my son was born in
Knoxville but I sure as hell keep up.
Does that mean I support the hockey team more
Than the football team?

I hate the supporters. I could care less if Summit wins 100 straight national championships or jumps off the Henley Street Bridge.

How can you not support a coach at our school?
You went to ut and you don't care if a program
Is successful or not??????????

I'm confused. Whose supporters? Fulmer, the "old guard's Tennessee Way," or Summitt?

I guess that means you hate me then, because I support Pat.

Fair enough, take it easy Hat.:hi:

Supporters was probably too broad. Sycophants would have been a more accurate term. You certainly aren't a portion of the fanbase I was shooting at with that post.

It's ok to use more than half the page. I promise.

They did that in public? I must have missed the tape on that one.

I see your point, but again, IMO, that is splitting ti finest of hairs.

Both CLK and CBP are agents of change/ I do not think they are as far apart in their ideals and philosophies as you might think.

At least wrt discipline, the two could not be more different.

100% disagree. Kiff is no nonsense and all business from what I've seen so far.

Not trying to be nit picky, but was your son born in Knoxville or have you not been to a game in Knoxville since the birth of your son? See how a couple of commas can make everything more clear.

BTW, when he gets a little older try to take him to at least one game a year on the hill. I did my son, who is now grown, even the trip was 300+ miles from Alabama where we live. He always tells me that it was one of the highlites of growing up.

How so? BP discarded of the excess baggage when needed. Little bsing with Smith, Crews, Wingate, and the like.

CLK has taken care of business and has been every bit as flashy as Pearl, with quite a bit more brashness about him.

We have seen how Pearl's style correlates onto the court. We've yet to see anything but talk from CLK.
