Because if a guy is 3 of 15 from the arc its not money...way over used! He used it when Lofton and Smith had off nights...it was okay at first but damn!

This UT team is worse than last year! No defense, shoot 3's the whole game, etc. Pearl needs to get it together soon---UK will start dominating the conference.

I like Berts enthusiasm. We'll just have to agree to disagree. In my opinion he is so awesomely bad he is good.

WRONG, being a year older has nothing to do w/ playing defense. the fact that the team is constantly having back door lay ups given up and wide open 3's show that these guys are 1. not trying, 2. not in a stance, 3. don't care. i'm glad that ole boy put up 54 on them. maybe now Bruce will wake up, get the stick out of his arse and get to coaching for once this year. i'm not watching another game until i read on VN or the newspaper that they have started playing with some effort. disgusting

Come on man, you really think Pearl isn't coaching his ass off trying to fix the problems??? Young players tend to focus on one problem so much that it opens up a flood gate of other mistakes...if they can ever gel together offensivley as a team and become confident i believe we will be alright in the end. But I am afraid we are going to really get ourselves in a hole here soon and really struggle to make the big dance!:cray:

It would be a "big if" if we hold someone below their season average, its not that big of an if trying to hold someone to their season average or maybe 'if' we just hold him to 10 points above his season average we would still win this game.. this is a false sense of security for UK though, other than Meeks, they really didnt have any other go-to-guy.. Dominated is a strong word. Chism did good, and is a little better than Patterson, but to say he dominated him is a bit much.

to be honest no i don't. i don't think there is much "coaching" being done to be honest. it's not the young players that are causing the most problems. think about this. how many times has chism been beat when his man cuts back door? think of gonzaga game. there are plenty of times just from this one game. also when has JP Prince EVER played defense? Brian Williams isn't much better. Tatum gets beat a lot as well as other vets. It's a joke to watch. Here's the thing, the guy i think plays the best defense especially on a pick and roll situation is Negedu, and he's a freshman. my problem isn't with the freshman.
