any rebound that was up for grabs between chism and patterson, chism got it 80% of the time, thats dominant.. and if we had a freaking point guard or any guard for that matter that could drive and dish Chism could have had numerous points against Patterson

Coach Pearl himself said We were ranked too high at the beginning of the season...Much too young to expect everything people are wanting out of this team...They are a year or two away from greatness...If you are expecting a bunch of freshman to take us to the final 4 then you need your heads examined.

It sure seems every game we find a player in the other uniform to make look damn good...We have no one on the team at all that can man up anyone so we have all of these others moving from their man to help out leaving easy buckets and way too open looks...We need to figure out a d that this team can play or chalk it up to having our rears handed to us every game from here out...I do not see us winning against Florida either as they are too active for us and will get easy transition buckets due to us NEVER getting back on D...No one can shoot from the perimeter at all...Chism is a run killer shooting too many from beyond the arc...Face it people, we are gonna lose a lot this year :cray:

We are not merely a bunch of freshmen though. Tyler and Chism are juniors. Williams-soph? Maze, junior. JP Prince-senior?

Point is, we have a nucleus in place so the freshmen should be role players. We should not have to depend on them.

Let Chism and Tyler sniff some model plane glue and decide to go to the NBA and see how we are next year.

He isn't Patterson. Patterson's a better athlete, better scorer in the paint and rebounds just as well. That doesn't even begin to talk about the mile wide mental divide between the two.

Wayne's mental block seems to be shrinking actually. And Wayne has had some very nice post moves over the last month.

I think the mental divide (focus, toughness etc) is what will really separate them at the next level IMO.

I love Chism but he isn't on Patterson's level IMO.
