Bryce Brown allegedly on campus at UT, allegedly leaving Kan St (merged)

If Dooley wants him, and he wants to be here, then cool if Dooley can make it work. I just hope people stop making excuses for him and put him in a situation where he has to be his own man. No accountability means never having to grow up. He's not a kid.

What a waste of talent..!! I feel bad for the kid..he needs to get his head inr ight place and do justice to his talent..

Remember when the Big XII press listed him as preseason all conference? I feel bad for the guy. He must have a very unstable group of advisors around him (this I think we all suspected). He never seemed to get his mind right.

Remember when everyone was making Bryce Brown vs. Trent Richardson comparisons?

I'd love to dig some of those threads back out.

Interesting that his brother leads the team in tackles thus far.

This is what happens when parents don't let a grown man make his own decisions. At some point you have to wonder if he couldn't handle the pressure of the hype. He may not be a superstar, but he is definitely a serviceable back with some potential.

Dude has supreme natural ability, but doesn't have what it takes between the ears. With the right coaching and the right support people around him he could be a fantastic player.

He was the one Kiffin said would be pumping gas. We thought it was Alshon.

Seriously, any kid who lets a "handler" influence his affairs is treading on thin ice. Coaches don't like dealing with these slime balls and who could blame them. Bryce's dad has to share some of the blame for his under achievement. I believe the DD philosophy of recruiting high character and stable kids is the right way to go. The 5 stars don't mean much if the kid won't put forth the effort.

Couldn't agree more, but unfortunately if he leaves KSU then his chances are probably shot at playing real football or ever having a career in it. What program is going to use a scholly for a guy who has to sit ANOTHER year and then only has very limited eligibility left, when he has shown very little promise?

Dooley's call. We don't exactly have a stable full of horses in the backfield. And does anyone still think Kiffin was sandbagging Poole?
