I am still trying to locate where it is mentioned that he is coming back. Has he spoken to Coach or is this all speculation? Last I heard, his girl friend and several close friends are still here in Knoxville. Not trying to argue, just wanting to know if this is something to keep an eye on.

I heard that Bryce Brown owns some land just outside of Knoxville and, flew in from Manhattan, Ks on Lovie's plane yesterday.

Why do so many people live in the past...if this kid is on campus, who cares???? I understand some Lane Kiffin posts since he tends to be in the news with his affiliation to UT but can we not move on??? Someone needs to start a Josh Selby post...I mean that kid ALMOST came to Tennessee. I guess I find it sad....

I agree that his dad screwed things up for him.

That being said, wouldn't you expect a prime athlete to suck it up and do his best, wherever he wound up? Grow where you're planted, and all that.

If he did wind up back on the team here, who's to say that he would remember how to play hard and demand excellence of himself 24/7? That's an attitude and a habit that you have to develop and maintain with practice, not a switch that you throw on when needed.

I'd really (really, really) hate to start seeing a lot of Bryce Brown = Scotty Hopson threads in the future. :sad: (I skipped over a few pages on this thread, so my apologies if the S-word has already surfaced.)

BB, his brother and family took money from Shapiro or whatever his name is for hotel and food when they visited Miami. Even if he wanted to come back, I don't see Dooley taking him simply for this reason alone. We don't need any other NCAA problems right now.

You dont know what went on at K State. It may not have anything to do with productivity. He could be in Snyders doghouse for missing most of the spring and summer workouts.
