does anyone know if BBrown is in attendance at the UT vandy game today

I read he was at the game with Kiffin but left at halftime. Sorry if this has been posted. I know this was a few weeks ago.

If this is true, then maybe he will make his decision, in Knoxville, that he is signing with UT. How awesome would that be?

Or maybe he will anounce his decision to go to another school while he is in K-ville. Wouldnt that be a real kick in the pants.

Hopefully this is a good sign and he will indeed sign with us. Just trying not to be too optimistic or I will be drunk for a week if he goes somewhere else (especially if it is LSU).

Given this recent news, how confident are you on Brown going to Oregon?

It definitely gives Oregon's chance a hit, imo. But, I don't think it rules them out yet.

Bryce Brown should have his own forum.

lol

Here's a question for you guys:

Do you think that the negative reaction by the media and sports fans in general to Kiffin's actions/comments could hurt a recruit like Browns value as a franchise player in the NFL? In other words, if Kiffin turns UT into a team that sports fans like to root against (like Notre Dame and Ohio State) could that damage Brown's ability to sell tickets on an NFL team across the country?

Like Tennessee fan Brandon Darnell wrote at 4:55pm
"Bryce, please don't think that all Tennessee fans are creepy stalkers like some of these guys. They are the minority; I promise. Good luck in whatever you pursue man."

If he performs, NFL fans will forget where he came from.

No, it didn't hurt the players who went to Miami in their hayday. It didn't hurt players that went to Florida under Spurrier, etc. I don't think most NFL only fans care where a player went to college. If people root against us, that means we are relevant and winning again. I'll take that any day.

Are you effing serious? You think that NFL scouts look at media reaction on ANYTHING? Sure, they probably call up Kiper Jr. and ask him who they should draft. I HOPE Kiffin turns us into a team sports fans like to root against. Everybody hates winners.

Are there any current NFL players from ND, OSU, or any other "hated" school that fans don't like simply because of where they went to college? No. If a player performs and stays out of trouble, fans don't care where he's from.

Plus Notre Dame

absolutely not. if anything, it gives BB (and players like him more exposure which results in more fans knowing about his abilities. this, in turn, causes more celebration by fans of professional teams when these athletes are signed. personally, i usually stop caring about a player's college affiliation in the pros unless they are TN alums (i.e. i've always been a big jevon kearse fan despite him being a gator). rarely do i continue hating players based on their collegiate days. that being said, i will never support anything relating to charles woodson or rex grossman. :)
