Charles Scott (ranked 20th RB in the NCAA last year by Rivals), 5 star recruit Keiland Williams, 4 star recruit Richard Murphy, and 4 star and 7th ranked 2009 RB recruit Michael Ford. Don't forget about Trindon Holliday!

I honestly think anyone should be compared to Barry Sander's cutting abilities. You need to use someone more realistic, because Sanders was actually one of those cyborgs from Terminator 2 that were made of molten metal.

this may have already been posted, or asked, but someone on the football board said Bryce was on campus today. Is this true or is it just rumors?

Yeah I was wondering that too. It's a bit outlandish. Right now we have injury prone hardesty, unproven creer, and poole, williams, and oku, all of which havent played, except poole in the one or two games at the end of the season. Many teams have better rbs. Lets get Brown and Lattimore or Mack Brown or Michael Dyer, and then we will start talking about having the best rbs.

Rumor (which has been confirmed as far as I'm concerned, by VSPN over the phone with Brown) is that he will make an unofficial visit this weekend. I doubt he's on campus today

These comparisons to other superstar backs are exciting. This kid's own name will become one to which others are compared. Mark it down. (I like that phrase--and just had to borrow it).

At this stage, I wonder if Adrian Peterson is the best comparison. I know Peterson isn't in the Hall of Fame, yet, so I don't want to downplay BB's talent, but... just saying, he is going to be great. Some folks have said he's the best recruit coming out in the last five years--and there have been some good ones.

Bryce will only be a Frosh (at UT this fall!), so we have to give him a little time to live up to his potential. I'd say, what, by the UF game ?? j/k

I also agree that he has to prove himself on the field and should earn all these comparisons, but still... he's great and with Oku, they'll give teams fits in the years ahead.

Also, read that Hardesty stepped it up in practice yesterday. Greatness will motivate players around him to play better. If he has the same effect on our offense that Berry has on our defense, man, this is going to a fun few years ahead!

I'm not getting into it. The only thing I'll say more about the conflicting information is that I stand by my initial statement after the situation evolved.

What people believe is up to them.

For me to go further would cause me to get into a conversation between me and a person I told I wouldn't divulge that part of the conversation to.

I have not posted anything on here as fact that hasn't come to pass. The post I made initially was posted as fact. Take that for what you want.

If Brown and company want to keep the trip on the downlow, is anyone surprised that his dad would tell people they aren't going anywhere, even if they are? Crabtree talked to Brown's dad before this leaked, so they were probably trying to keep it under wraps. Or it might have only been a possibility at that point. Either way I trust VSPN that BB will make the unofficial this weekend unless he has a change of plans. ESPN/Rivals reporting has been flaky at best as of late

So are you thinking false information was "leaked" later, that he wasn't going anywhere, as a form of restitution by those who let it slip he was coming in the first instance?
