Me too, actually, but not for the reason you think. I think Mullen has been way too quick to kick kids off the team who haven’t even been charged with anything. Mullen is 3 for 3 on booting kids, that’s a zero tolerance approach. What more would you like from Mullen in addition to zero tolerance, in terms of cleaning up a culture? Personally, I wish he’d give more chances to guys, like Pruitt did with Kenneth George. Mullen seems to be getting rid of players due to public pressure. I prefer the Saban approach, run the program and block out all outside influences on your decisions.

I for once agree with you on something haha. As much as I dislike saban he is spot on for giving a kid a second chance as long as it's within reason.

The good thing is he apparently did not hit anyone, and the girlfriend said he has hit a wall in the past, but apparently not her, so he seems to have the presence of mind to not hit someone when angry. The bad thing is the "shooting up the school" comment, you just can't say something like that in the current environment. Assuming we have the whole story, if they can determine that the "shooting" comment was just an angry response with no actual intent, and it is a first time issue, he MIGHT get another chance with suspensions and counseling, payment for damages, but if they believe there was any validity or actual intent with the "shooting" statement, he will be gone, probably expelled. If he is retained, Pruitt will have to make it clear to him that there will not be another chance.

I’ve hit so many walls. Sometimes you’ve just gotta hit something. It is natural. It’s better then breaking in someone’s face. Some people were born warriors some people weren’t. Dang sheep.

The best punishment would be for BT to be selected captain of the new non-profit organization TennCount which helps spread this simple yet time-tested and proven effective system for managing emotions before you let them manage you. He must do a sum of 3 video spots working with that new creative outfit 151 and turn what could have been a terrible misunderstanding into a great way of helping the greater good get a better understanding of how to effectively mentally de-escalate. Maybe there's an opening scene where he and someone are arguing and it shows a thought bubble cloud with a thermometer turning red, boiling and smoke around it. Then it goes back to him and you hear what sounds like his thoughts as he starts to count. He gets to five, it goes half way down the temperature and stops smoking. He gets to 1 and it turns orange with a smile that changes into the TennCount logo and he signs off with the slogan. Thoughts?

Lol dude I was rolling with you there until the last two sentences. Warriors have to hit things? And those who don’t have to hit things are sheep? That’s good stuff there, I like it.

All fairness, maybe I took it wrong. Cuz I’ll admit to tarrying a bit in the malt tonight. But I do agree that sometimes you need a release and an inanimate object is always the better target. It’s just the warrior thing is sillay.

The other trick is knowing where the studs are.

What a bunch of butt hurt enablers...you, originalfade and the others. Jackson wasn't kicked off of the team because he was a murderer or convicted of manslaughter or anything like that. All of that came later. He was kicked off because he was a thug--and you see the end result of that. If I remember correctly, there were some questions regarding Thompson's character when he had already committed to SC. When you go after these kind of guys, you get what you get. I haven't seen anything overly intelligent posted by originalfade since I've been posting, and that's been a few years now.
