Bryce Young game status?

I get this vibe that he will play but we will see.

Honestly, to me this is a great situation because we were written off as a loss to Alabama prior to the season so if we end up winning, that is just extra icing on the cake of what has already been a great season so far.

Even if he does play it makes me wonder if his accuracy will be 100%. His shoulder looked seriously hurt. Hard to believe it will be 100% 2 weeks after the injury.
It won’t be and that’s why we need to hit him every chance we got

If it is a AC Joint then it possible he is out for 2-4 weeks depending on the severity. He didn’t throw in practice last week and if you watch the game from last night he is underhand tossing with the QBs.

This injury can take 4 to 6 weeks to heal. Have to wonder what his accuracy will be like if he plays and one sack could injure it more.

You ask what the entire college football world (well at least bammer and Vol fans) wants to know. No one but Saban and his team will know until kickoff.

Famous last words, but I hope he starts. I think he is an amazing competitor, and a truly great college quarterback. But with that kind of injury, my thoughts are that he will do everything to avoid a hit. That means quick throws, running out of bounds, and throwing the ball away a lot quicker than he normally would. Alabama's quarterback against A&M took a lot of shots, and Bryce watched everyone of them. For a kid that has future NFL aspirations, that has got to be in his head every time he takes a snap Saturday.

Playing with house money. Bama has escaped twice vs unranked teams. They have all the pressure this week.

Your avatar image is exactly what I would expect our defensive coordinator to think at this point: "Let's see how he responds to relentless pressure. Our offense is now capable of matching them score for score."

AC joints are tricky. Grade 1-2 is non-surgical treatment. Basically just rest it. Grade 3 and over needs surgery to fix it.

If that is in fact what he has then he won’t be 100%. And he will have pain and discomfort. If he injures it more then he will likely be out for the season.

I hope Bryce young plays and is 100%.

Don’t wanna hear no excuses from bama when we whoop dat a$$
Could care less about excuses just makes the ones using them look silly. Injuries are part of football you play who can play and the best team wins. Every team has injuries and plays with bumps and bruises. Crying about them makes you look weak. There are no excuses in football. GBO!

Hopefully he'll bang up his foot in practice like Kentucky's Will Levis did last week.;)
