Bryce Young game status?

I want their best shot, sure the team does as well. Mr. Turnover would be nice but I would rather see Young. Now Milton better work hard this week in case Hooker gets ruffed up some. Somewhere in the balance of the season we are going to need Milton.

Whatever advantage we can get on Bama I will take. Bama hasn’t gotten our best in at least 25 years. We have been handicapped at the coaching and QB position since what Ainge and Fulmer? I don’t care if Bama was playing their entire practice squad. I will take a wain however we get it.

I’m sure he will play. Probably won’t practice. Normally I’d think that wouldn’t bode well for a gameday performance but he’s a heisman winner so one would expect even without warmup he should be pretty good. Our goal if he plays should be to hit him early and often, and bring the full weight down on him whenever the opportunity arises.
THIS

This injury can take 4 to 6 weeks to heal. Have to wonder what his accuracy will be like if he plays and one sack could injure it more.
That is what I am thinking. Saban has to be thinking what is the risk/reward if he plays. Losing this game for AL doesn't affect their chances of winning the West, but risk losing BY for the year greatly affects their chances of winning the West. AL has turn around and play a surging MSU squad the next week. Beating MSU means more to them than winning in Knoxville because they know if we win out, they can possibly play us again.
Just my 2 cents

Regardless of who is QB for them, I would love to be the $hit out of them!

Go Vols!!

I personally want his Heisman winning ass in the game, so when we beat them the Bammers cannot say well our QB1 did not play

AC sprain is a pain tolerance thing for the most part. Hard to make it worse but will hurt like heck.

Likely gets injection for pain and goes but that’s pure conjecture on my part.

Hit him every play and if you have to earn a personal foul penalty early do it. Hit that shoulder every play all game long.

The kid suffered an AC sprain in the shoulder. At a minimum of 3-4 weeks for recovery from a mild sprain, grades 1-3, possibly longer for a full recovery. I do not doubt he will play, but he will most likely need an injection just before the game to alleviate pain, but he won't be 100%. I am curious as to how bad the sprain is and if he will injure it further if he plays. Grades higher than 1-3 will most likely need surgery. Mind one, this is his throwing shoulder, so if he isn't fully recovered, I suspect he isn't going to do his shoulder any good if he plays!

I didn't say try to injure anyone. But if a player is injured you always attack that injury in any sport. Any coach at any level will say the same thing. Maybe you should take up painting or something.

This is disgusting, not a necessary part of sports, and is representative of the kind of insidious mindset that infiltrates the minds of Akron-type athletes who don’t believe enough in their ability to play clean and still dominate.

Honestly. If I was Bama I'd rest Young.
If he plays TN, gets hurt and they lose. Young will probably not be right the rest of their season and run the risk of drop another two games and out of the play offs.
Rest him if they win, then they've given their star QB more time to heal. If they rest him and lose one they're still in the playoff hunt and their QB has a chance to heal and end the season strong

Doesn’t that mean dislocated shoulder? Which is why the sideline reporter heard screams from in the tent when they had to pop it back in place?

If so, there is no way he is playing against us imo
AC separation is injury to the point where clavicle and acromial process connect. Not a dislocation and in this case sounds like a grade I which is just a strain without any real separation. Can take a couple of weeks to become less sore though but I suspect he has had exceptional PT to encourage healing.

It's literally no different than picking on a weak corner in the passing game. Your post is lame.

It’s entirely different, and fairly simple to distinguish.

One is strategically taking advantage of athletic superiority; one is fear/scarcity-based perception that leads to low-class decision making and unethical behavior.

The stronger athletes act like it.

I know absolutely nothing about this specific injury. Does it affect his ability to throw much?
