He hit him from the side, clearly. Clearly. When you hit a guy from the back he doesn't fall sideways. That is clean every time.

The late hit was obviously late. He stepped out of bounds and kept running after the whistle, but it doesn't mean he's fair game.

Pass interference is also never called on plays where both guys are playing the ball.

This isn't a shot at Boise, but it's not really the same argument. The Utah game was a weak attempt at consolation for Bama in that situation. Going from 13-0 to playing a powerhouse to the title to a bowl game which meant a whole lot more to one team than the other.

All of Boise's remaining opponents with a pulse (Fresno and Oregon St) are at home. Same goes for the ones who might just be alright by WAC standards, Hawaii and Utah St.

Any Vol fan should be ashamed of themselves for rooting for Bama to win a national title.

Glad to see Boise win tonight, because it will likely mean that they will stick it to zealous power conference honks nation wide when they take a berth in the NCG.

I don't think tonight's game had any effect one way or the other on the BCS.
