BSU VS VT Time: 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 6, FedEx Field (91,704),

Scoreboard.

If they didn't show up for that game, all it means is that team was mentally weak. Same goes for Brokelahoma when BSU beat them.
As much as I hate Alabama, I find it hard to believe they weren't trying their best in that game.

I hate boise state...cause bama and ohio state are not going undefeated this year smdh Im pissed stupid va tech

Agreed. This is going to ruin the college football season having to listen to all this BS talk about Boise St. being a worthy NC contender for the next 3 months. Teams that don't play in a BCS conference should not be eligible for the BSCNCG. They play a one game schedule with 10 other glorified scrimmages. Of course they win these kind of games. When you only have to get ready for one game all season, this is what happens. Ohio St. will likely run undefeated through the weak Big 11 as well, so everyone can look forward to OSU and Boise for a NC. AWESOME. :banghead2:

If next week Boise played LSU followed by South Carolina, do they win both?

I would say yes.

LSU has more talent than Boise, but Petersen can coach circles around Les Miles. LSU would have to play a nearly mistake-free game to beat Boise, and I simply don't think they're capable of it. Miles sucks too much.

I would pick Boise over SCar.

The only SEC team I would pick over BSU right now is Bama. Georgia and Florida, jury is still out. Every other team in the SEC, I'd give Boise at least a 50/50 shot of beating at a neutral site.

I assume AL and UF - who else? We know how they match up with Oregon.

The week in and week out grind of the SEC schedule would eventually wear on them. Aside from obvious losses to UF and Bama who are simply superior teams talent wise, UGA, Arkansas and LSU could likely take them as well.

Stick em in the SEC, do they still go undefeated?

If you stick them in the SEC they would be able to recruit the 5* players that the rest of the league gets. Then they would have the depth to go through a season in the SEC with a shot at the title.

I'm sure they were.

I view the MWC of recent years a little differently, I honestly believe it has been on equal footing with the Big East and ACC at times.

Utah was truly talented and capable that year.

Ya, Virginia Tech was "likely to take them" as well. Could have, too. But they didn't.

Well it's speculation. God, people. Act like I'm asking you about stem cell research.

How would you like me to answer your speculation? I have no idea if they would or would not. I don't know if any team will finish undefeated in the SEC.

When you are old and white, it's easier for you to sympathize with a team from boise, idaho than it is a brother from Newport VA.

The waving off of a clip followed up with THAT late hit call??...inexcusable.

That's sort of funny since all the pics of the VaTech fans on yahoo sports for this game showed crowds of all white people. When we played them in Peyton's freshman season it was also a 90+% white fan base. I was there. Just an observation....nothing meant by it.

I don't feel brotherly toward Va Tech, just other Vols fans.
