I try not to pile on Uros. He gets enough hate from others. But he was terrible tonight.
He can also miss more bunnies than any 7 footer I’ve ever seen. Just not strong around the basket.I think he's a great teammate and ambassador for the university, and I think he has his moments on the court. But for the level of trash talk he does, his play doesn't even remotely back it up. He's slow, he is generally not very good around the rim, constantly brings the ball down to cancel out his height advantage, and for a 7 footer he has one of the weakest verticals I've ever seen. It's like he has concrete feet.
Players tend to guard opponents of similar size. ZZ’s not guarding big post players very often.

He's a wuss offensively. He's often a couple feet from the basket and he kicks it out like a wimp who's afraid of the rim. Coaches like Bob Huggins would chew him out and explain in no uncertain terms that "you're 7 ft tall. Take the damn ball to the rim."
Aidoo has a MUCH higher ceiling than Uros and should get some starts because as a rule, they are earned and he is earning it. His hustle plays, blocks and rebounds, won the game for us tonight. He had as many blocks this game as Uros has this year.
3 blocks? Now do missed assignments on defense.
CRB’s defenses don’t produce big time shot blockers. At least ones that aren’t also giving up lots of dunks and layups. And how many blocked shots just end up going out of bounds or to another offensive player? But they are pretty. Maybe not all that important for sound defensive play though.
How about doing a stat for total screens and moving screens?
TN is statistically one of the best, if not the best defensive team in the country. But let’s beyatch about the blocked shot stats.

Without Aidoo tonight, we lose. His defense and effort were great during his many second half minutes. His potential and future at UT are much more important than Uros getting playing time for no clear reason.
