Butch could surprise on NSD (Rivals)

Stinks that unfortunately Butch has to go against Saban and Meyer on the existing high profile recruits.

That's what concerns me in all of this. I have full confidence and hope in CBJ going forward (of course, I was one of the few that had that hope in CDD, too). But he has such a steep uphill battle to fight. Right now, we are the 11th rated SEC team on Rivals' list. Only Arkansas, MO, and KY are behind us. All of the rest of the SEC, including our rivals, are widening the talent gap.

CBJ is going to have to work some magic with fewer quality players on his roster. I hope he can do it!

I think the surprise will be that we came in second or third for several four and five star recruits. Hopefully next year we will do better.

I'm not going to judge CBJ on this years class, whether good or bad. Dooley really screwed this program with players like Bell, Green and Morris. I think a year of building relationships with players and HS coaches could do wonders

Jenkins is a 3 star on 247's composite.

Or do we just pick and choose which site to reference based upon who give a recruit the best score?

We pick and choose which site to reference just like Bama picks and chooses how many National Championships they have.

Bama does it just like Michigan, Notre Dame, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, USC, Ohio St, Michigan St, Tennessee, and many, many others.

And there's the answer to the original question. We all use the rankings we like the best, aka the ones that make our recruits look the best.

EDIT: Except for champyvol, who above me has done the exact opposite because he apparently doesn't want to believe that good things can happen to UT.
