Butch Jones needs to own this!!!!!!!!!!

- This one is about 85% on Worley. Without two end zone picks and a game changing turnover in the third 3rd, this ends up a 45-14 type of game.

- The Defense lacks a lot of talent but plays hard. Not too many issues what they bring week end and week out. They were simply on the field the entire 2nd half and are constantly put in bad spots by the Offense.

- Pig Howard is terrible. Would love to see Smith start in the slot.

- Play calling is terrible. Should just pound the rock and screw the read option

You lost all credability with your 3rd point, you my freind need to get on the fail boat and ship out.

Butch I swear if you don't fix sh*t this season you better get your resume' prepped for another job interview cause if we end up losing 9 games it's just not working out. Does anyone know of a major program firing a football coach after ONE horrible season???

Not true. A win vs Georgia or Florida or Alabama is "a win". A win vs S Alabama, a Sun Belt team is NOT a win when you get absolutely manhandled and embarrassed in the second half outside of 1 drive. Sorry, it's just not.

Sorry, it's a win.

AMEN BROTHER!!! 5 miserable years bc Phil wasn't good enough for us!!!! I'd give anything for him right now! Never thought we would get to the day where we were embarassing but here we are..

You are new here, so I will be gentle. I guess you forgot the Wyoming, Air Force, and Memphis games, in which we had NFL talent and got beat? ( I know, we won AF, but they almost beat us). So, before you go screaming "I'm Embarassed!" know our history first please.

The coach worship of our fan base is embarrassing. Stop making excuses for the absolute crap Butch and staff are putting on the field. This staff has been awful thus far this season.

^Jeez. Please provide your alternative to the current roster!

We seriously have the most retarded fan base in the country without a doubt. The fact that some of you are able to get out of bed in the morning and tie you own shoes is surprising based off of the idiocy that you type.

I think you may be giving some here too much credit.

Ok, you're right. It is a win on paper, and I'm sure as hell glad we're 3-2 and not 2-3. I didn't make my point clear.

My view of the So Alabama game was that in the big picture, that game didn't move our program forward. Could you take some good things out of it, sure. But there were more negatives than positives.... look at the overwhelming negative response from fans. The reason was, I believe, because most recognized that our team took a step back based on the team's inability to close out an inferior talented team after being embarrassed the previous 2 weeks...JMO.

True enough. However, the South Alabama game was also sandwiched in between Florida and Georgia, so a bit of a let down unfortunately should not be surprising.

We were up 31-7 and it really should have been 38-7. The major teaching point Butch can take from this game is that "we are not good enough to lose focus, take our foot off the gas and expect to beat anyone comfortably. We simply don't have the overall talent to do that."

I do not want to hear him say how good South Alabama was!!! No more BS Butch.....get results!!!

So, what was he supposed to say..how bad they were? I don't recall ever hearing a coach say how bad another team was no matter who they were, or the score.

Thank God for Velcro. . .

Sorry, it's a win.

and checking with the UT site, and EVERY other sporting site on this planet, it is a WIN!

Go follow the 1972 Dolphins.....no wait....i'm sure in your 'glass always half empty' world, they would be criticized by you also!

Brilliant.

No doubt after such sage wisdom on the part of the administration, we'd have most all the best and brightest young football minds lined up around the block to apply for the HC job.

"Hey coach. Come to Tennessee. You get one year to win with someone else's players who only have experience running someone else's plays out of someone else's formations. Oh, they also are accustomed to someone else's style, attitude and expectations."

"But, what if I fail and get fired?"

"Don't worry. We'll just pay you for a few years anyway. It's no big deal. We do that all the time."

Sounds great, Dave! Is this the back of the line?"

Let's stop the nonsense and endless excuses about Worley. This staff brought in 2 highly touted QB's who are supposed to perfectly fit his system. Show us what they can (Manziel won the Heisman as freshman for a new coach, right)? Also, didn't everyone keep saying Dobbs is so smart that he can learn the playbook and system in no time - I remember reading about how intelligent he is - so let's see what he has learned so far.

Redshirt freshman genius not fresh out of high school. But hey you're at practice day in and day out to make such an obvious statement of fact and coaching knowledge.

When you've been recruiting 2-3-4* talent the past 3-4 years, you're gonna get 2-3-4* results. Only 3 players from Kiffens class are left....I just can't get over the shock factor by some people....this is only going to get worse, its going to be some tough times the next 3-4 years

What has South Alabama been recruiting? Four star and five star talent?

I like Butch but not DC Jancek & Martinez. They were responsible for Georgia's horrid defense before they were canned for Grantham.

They are tied for the lead nationally in 11 interceptions. They lead the SEC in fewest penalties.

Neal had most rushing yards in a single game since 2009 (Poole vs. Oregon).

More 200 yard rushing games this year than last three years combined.
Back it up with numbers not emotion.
