I kinda feel for the guy because many of us are so jaded and so cynical because of the last 5 years. Personally, when I read or hear what he says I can feel that twinge of belief well up inside. But then I remember our recent history and I force myself to take his words with a grain of salt.

Sincerely hope Butch can back up all the great things he says with the product on the field. If he can validate his words with the performance on the field, I hope the good feelings will heal the fans so that we can finally purge ourselves of the doubt and negativity that permeates.

Here's hoping that we aren't getting Butch slapped.

He gets it. Whether or not we can get over the hump in this beast of a league which is the sec only time will tell. The fact that he's already pointed out many things that dooley completely missed is a start.

There are people that will not be denied. CBJ is here because he wants to be and he won't settle for anything less than being on top. I believe he will do it.

No apology necessary. Look, whomever the coach may be, we want them to suceed (even if we may not like them). That's because we love Tennessee football and the kids that come to UT to play for us. That will never change.:rock:

I'm excited to see the product on the field. He's definitely been saying all the right things up to this point. Man I hate this time of the year!!

Its easy to root for someone that you're praying can bring our football team back to national dominance, I'm guilty also.
