Butch Jones quotes after the game:

You obviously missed the part where I said it HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH COACHING ABILITY

How in the heck can you say Butch is a bad coach like Dools and is all talk and then say it has nothing to do with coaching???

That makes as much sense as saying I used to own a Ford that was horrible and I just got a new Dodge truck that's a Ford 2.0 and then say but it has nothing to do with the quality my truck is???

Dooley 2.0

All talk at this point

(not talking about coaching ability)

Not at all dude. Dooley would always talk bad about the team.always said year 0 , and we needed more time. Jones sounds like a ball coach. He's fired up, and ready to get his team back on the practice field. Dooley was never fired up.

Not taking up for him, but maybe he was telling the truth and that's not what we wanted to hear

We lost by less than last year and we were minus CP, Hunter, and Bray.

I fail to see how Butch isn't good enough. Better outcome with less talent.

I like the fact that he mentioned practice tomorrow. He's like if were gonna keep doing it, until it gets fixed.

At least we were in this game against the best defense in the country. Against Miami and Tennessee, FL has given up a total of 441 yards on D.

Unlike Dooley, I believe that given some time Butch will return us to respectibility.

We just shouldn't be here 5 years after Fulmer.

This must be said , Tennessee took another ass whoopn' on national TV. Out played and out coached again. The only thing that will help this team is graduation . :ermm:

Reading comprehension is lacking in our country

Yank, I like your posts on here, but come on man. How should we read your post? The Op pastes comments from our HC who is disgusted with the loss, hurts the state, wants to practice tomorrow, etc and you call him Dooley 2.0? Dooley would have talked about watering bamboo and Normandy. I think they are worlds apart and I'm not talking about coaching ability either...

LOL at you getting mad at coach speak. Of course we all want results, but again, what do you want him to say? You haven't answered that.

I have no problem with what he said. All I'm saying is that I want to see a difference, not just hear about it.

He said the same type of things after Oregon. That worked out well

It's all coach speak

Results need to be on the field

Yeah, I don't buy this at this point. CBJ inherited a bunch of players that don't necessarily fit HIS system. One, that I might point out, has won championships at every level he's been.

Give the cat a chance for fark's sake.....

Serious question: Would Dooley have had different results so far? I mean I cant imagine getting beat worse at OR. I guess FL could have been worse.
