Butch Jones quotes after the game:

I have no problem with what he said. All I'm saying is that I want to see a difference, not just hear about it.

He said the same type of things after Oregon. That worked out well

Same thing any coach worth a damn says after a loss

Its whether it gets fixed is my measuring stick

Just want to say that 20 minutes ago I felt pretty bad about this lose. I have been a vols fan along time and don't post much but do read a lot. If you look back a Vandy when Franklin took over we look alot like them in the fact there has been no quiet . I know that sounds bad but his first year one thing we could say was they did not quiet no mater the score. This team is not done yet!

I'm just curious....

Going into this season, what did you all THINK our record would be after 4 games? And how is our record, any different than what you expected? In fact, which GAME is any different than we expected?

The record is exactly what I expected. The problem is that I didn't expect to see our worst loss in a century to be followed up by the most inept half of football I've ever seen.

Butch left something out of his remark: "We probably played the worst half of football ever BECAUSE I CHOSE TO PLAY THE WRONG QUARTERBACK--AND THEN KEPT IN THE GAME FOR THE ENTIRE HALF."

I like Jones--but that's what he SHOULD have said. If he had started Worley, the first half would have been better--no question about it. Florida was as bad as we were--and yet led us by 10 points.

The worst two halves of football I have ever seen any Tennessee team play have been at the swamp.

I want him to take accountability for leaving peterman in far far FAR too long.

He obviously committed to giving him a half. As ugly as it was, I respect that. He doesn't need to apologize for that, IMO. We all needed to see our second option in-game.

Unlike Dooley, I believe that given some time Butch will return us to respectibility.

We just shouldn't be here 5 years after Fulmer.

I feel the same way. Who would've thought 5 years after fulmer we would be this. It will get better, we got the right guy finally

Some of u people are so damn spoiled!! Being a Syracuse fan, u people have no idea what it's like to constantly lose!! We have been loser's since 1999!!

Sorry but y'all have been loser longer than that. I remember a game in 98 that made me happy happy. Just poking a little fun at you bro.

when the offense is completely INCOMPETENT and giving away points when you have another QB who CLEARLY would have been better. That is stupid. We're trying to win a freakin' game for a change--and it sure looked to me like it was game we could have won, at least for a long while. Worley isn't great by any stretch, but he would have been MUCH better than Peterman, as we saw in the 2nd half. We had 5 yards passing in the first half--5 yards!
