Of course, no one has ever pulled a recruit or two on just over a month on the job.

Don't get in a hussy, now he can see what he has to do to close some of these recruits that he missed on. Recruiting is cut throat, you can't be a nice guy. If you aren't on the edge, you aren't winning recruiting battles, generally

Hart should've asked DD for his keys back the moment the clock wound down after the Mizzou game. A search should've started that moment and a replacement in place by end of Nov...

Obviously many of these top name recruits liked Jones and his staff or UT wouldn't have even been mentioned. Those guys probably ultimately decided not to come to UT because we have a LOSING RECORD the last many many years. Not Butch's fault. He needs to win some games and convince people that UT is the place to come.

I remember when a Gator Scribe was writing an article about how Spurrier owed Fulmer ( and he did) and what could be done from the UT POV. So , he asked SEC coaches, fans, people off the street, etc and the consensus was: until UT beat Spurrier a couple of times , it would never change, cause even if UT had better players, SOS would outfox Fulmer. WE all know what happpened, a 20 pt dog UT team knocked the Gators from the Rose Bowl thanks to Casey C. the gator fans turned on SOS, he got pissed and left 4 the NFL. Therefor, all we need to do, to get back in the top drawer again, is get SOS another job in the NFL. THat was EZ- next problem.

I am going to hit the ignore button on these posts because of the negative posts by supposedly adult Vol Fans who act like preteen spoiled brats. Too many are downing our Coach and the Great bunch of Recruits we have gotten. I believe the the Coach and his Staff will take our incoming Recruits along with Great bunch of Players we have and make a Great Team. I can wait and see if they do their job which I believe they will. I will log on after the O&W game and see what they have done.

if he has his tail between his legs from going up against muschump, saban, richt, franklin, et al in recruiting, somebody better put him on suicide watch once he has to face them on the field.

I am really down. I thought for sure that CBJ in 2 months could talk kids away from UA/LSU/OSU/UF/UGA and their recent winning traditions. He could not get them to move out of state to a program that has not been winning nor going to bowl games for their 4 years of HS. Darn, thought for sure he could a done it. Did he not say to them WE ARE TENNESSEE. That shoulda done it huh?
