I don't think anyone questions your fanhood, most of us just think that your original idea was stupid.

Based on your logic, football should just be a mere mathematical formula to determine the outcome. The game has to be played. Oregon is a talented team but they aren't unbeatable.

You said Oregon isnt that good. That is just comical. That is one of the most absurd things ive seen on here.

Please don't. I haven't been to a Tennessee game live since I went to school there in the 80's. I can't wait to go down from Portland to Eugene to see this game and bring my daughter (she will be 5) to her first live football game. She watches all the Tennessee games with me on TV and likes the team in Orange.

We definitely need to keep Oregon on the schedule! I feel that this game will prepare us early for road games in the SEC. I know all games matter, but a loss to Oregon doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things in the SEC. I suppose you could go around thinking we could lose to anybody on any given saturday, but I believe we can beat anybody. Pluse our chances increase if Chip bolts for the NFL. Let Butch go out and get 8+ wins off the d***.

No buyout!!!!! We take it to oregon win or lose! We come back with our heads held high no matter the outcome! How would our program look if we backed down to the ducks, while playing teams like w.kentucky,s.alabama,etc. They don't back down!

I'm just curious...do you think Chattanooga is thinking about cancelling their game with Alabama next year at Bryant-Denny Stadium?

How would that look if the Tennessee Vols bailed out of their Oregon game while Chattanooga kept their game with Alabama?

Now i know you're about to say "Were Tennessee we dont back down! We will play anybody!"

But lets be honest Were not winning a championship next year, It will be an auto loss, Next years goal needs to be to get to a bowl game.

And with this schedule, Were not guaranteed to win 5 games.

Auburn will be alot better under Malzahn.

Missour will be better.

Vandy will be good (Despite what alot of UT fans wanna think)

Hell Western Kentucky is not a 100% win IMO

Theres a CHANCE we lose 8 games for the first time EVER.

Call me what you want but for the best interest in this program we need to buy out this game.

So this is what we have come to..........running scared of playing a good team....:mf_surrender:

I thought you guys in the FF had more confidence in CBJ than this :banghead2:

I would say no more comical than you suggesting we drop a game because we might be the inferior team. I hope you're not a volunteer coach of a youth team. You would sure set a great example for our kids. Hey kids, I know you have worked hard, but our next team is very good and you guys suck so we are gonna just not show up. How does that sound kids??

In reference to how you speak about them, they aren't. You act as if we are playing the Patriots next year. So troll on.

How i speak of them? U sir need to take off your orange shades and take a look.

Then how good are they? and def no trollin here.

Probably a good idea as far as wins and losses are concerned. Negative in literally every other aspect though. I'd love to have never scheduled them to begin with, but to just buy out of the game would be an embarrassment IMO. Scoreboard might be just as embarrassing, butid rather at least try

If they were the gods in green, they would have won their mediocre conference for sure, and be playing for a title, which they are not. Don't get me wrong, they are a good team, however to the regard on which you hold them is unwarranted. They still have to lave up the cleats and play 60 minutes.

Im not holding them to anything, What do u think the points spread is gonna be next year in eugene?

And yes, I know, Anybody can beat anybody any giving Saturday.

Who cares what the spread is? I'm not a gambling man so I don't. The point spread doesn't determine the outcome. There's a lot that could happen between now and then. What was the spread on the A&M bama game? Doesn't matter. Stop slitting your metaphorical fandom wrists.
