What'd I win?

Not so fast. You only provided a snipe, singular. I'm providing Snipes.

My initial prediction is that Allen starts Olb but I am not sure how that works with Kongbo switching there.

If he’s worth his salt/billing, he’ll play ahead of an over-hyped, poor producing Kongbo.

I'll honestly be surprised if Kongbo does jack squat this year. He's shown nothing to make anyone think he'll get out there and tear it up.

Well to Kongbo's defense this will be his 1st year with actual coaching from a defensive staff. Plus he's got a better strength program to benefit from. IMO it's gonna be on Kongbo as to how well he will do. If he wants it then it's his to take he has to apply what he is taught and break bad habits.

Couldn't agree more. Up until this point he's been a straight bust.

Simonton said on VQ pod that he believes Pruitt may have moved him to OLB to limit his snaps

To preface, he said that was his opinion reading tea leaves and not from info gathered. He was just thinking a guy like Taylor will clearly be the guy on one edge.

I think he is just like all of us are questioning his ability to play the position and this was a possible way to make the kid happy with a position move because you may not like what you saw at DE yet don't won't him being cancerous.

I give a guy like Phillips this leeway as his body was clearly poorly developed under last staff yet he looked totally different in one spring under new staff.

Kongbo looked same. Kongbo was his own worst enemy. Too much back and forth on what he wanted to be vs the staff wants. Which led to him fighting the battle of wanting to be smaller while someone wanted him bigger. So he ends up half azz in between as not strong enough and not fast enough. Would have been better if he just went all in on DT

Let’s all just get in a circle and go around expressing how disappointed we are that Kongbo isn’t Jadaveon Clowney. Then we’ll light candles and mourn while singing kumbaya.

Careful..mention candles and Kongbo in the same sentence, and we'll have Brother Hugh Freeze up here in no time.

Look for Kongbo to bring his best game this year. The clock is ticking and he wants to elevate his standing on the scouts' radar.

I was surprised by the move of Kongbo to OLB because he looked good during scrimmages this spring. It was the best he has looked since he got on campus. I don’t believe the staff has given up on him at all, but we will have to wait and see how things develop during the Fall.

I know I’m just saying why would you move a starter at DE to a backup role at OLB in order to get him less snaps?

It makes no sense

Idk, think he said this is Pruitt say of pacifying Kongbo by letting him switch positions while at the same time limiting his snaps. Just what Simonton said was his hot take
