QB- Tony Robinson, while he floundered in the NFL and got hurt halfway his senior year you could agrue there was never a more talented QB. Johnny Majors said he was the greatest talent he ever coached. RB-Chuck Webb he was a force, had not he got hurt in the first game of his sophomore year records would have shattered. Put Charlie Garner and Reggie Cobb in there as well. LB-Steve Kiner, Hacksaw Reynolds, Al Wilson, Eric Westmorland, Raynoch Thompson, Keith Delong. DT-Henderson,Haynesworth,Doug Atkins. DE- Leonard Little, Richard Cooper, Todd Kelly Sr. Safety-Charles Davis, Chris White. CB-Carter, McDaniel played safety mostly I am pretty sure. Terry Fair. And as far as WR goes, you can add Gault, Pickens, Stanley Morgan, Tim Magee and I am sure a few more. GBO!!!

Greatest PLAYERS? The only player that would be considered one of the greatest for UT was Derek Barnett PERIOD. Some of the others were pretty good but nowhere near the upper echelon of players to wear PMS 151 Orange, you can take that to the bank, and you're also comparing knowns with unknowns all that is being said is that this class is shaping up to be better based on rankings out of HS, no one can tell the future so no one knows if this class will develop and be better than those previous classes were in college, however considering we have a real coach now and not a used car salesman I'd assert that there is a much better chance this class turns out to be better in the long run

Until UT can get half the good players in TN and end up with a top 5 class like UF or UGA do... UT's recruiting will always depend on a coach good enough to find 5* talent with 3* labeling. UT has historically had more than its share of 5* busts... but maybe a little more than its share of 3* standouts.

Who honestly cares about where the boys come from? If they’re a good player Idc where they lived. If that happens to be in Tennessee great but if it means we win I couldn’t care less
