I’m not saying JG is a great QB but we need to pump the brakes a bit.

There’s no proof that Shrout will be better unless you’re just going by film clips.

I look at shrout like I do josh Allen. Tons of upside but there are major red flags for both and both need another year to develop.

Shrout threw 25 picks last year. I get that his team was bad, but 25 picks to 27 TDs tells me that he struggles to read coverages consistently or has zero understanding of them.

Have an incumbent and a grad transfer. And I think the plan may be to RS Shrout.

But I'm with bgs... he could wind up the best of the bunch when all is said and done

Hope you’re right. He certainly looks the part and has the tools. That whole 25 interceptions thing is hard for me to get past though. I did see a HS QB throw like 6 int in a playoff game a couple years ago though and they weren’t necessarily his fault. Other team was determined to stop their high octane passing game and his coach still kept chucking it deep. Maybe Shrout had a HC that had him forcing it downfield?
