Why is Pearl having to play with so many mismatched pieces? Why is he so undermanned in Year Five that we get swept by Vanderbilt and we're supposed to be happy about losing to Kentucky by only 11? Considering that he's supposed to be a great recruiter, why is it that two of the best three players he's had at Tennessee were guys that Buzz Peterson brought in? You talk about Pearl winning with "mismatched pieces" as though you've forgotten that Pearl handpicked all these guys himself.
