I have heard the speech. He definitely said it. But please, go ahead and defend it. He was encouraging people to "test the system". That is such flawed logic. Should you test a law enforcement mechanism by openly breaking said law? "I don't think our laws against burglary really work. So go commit a burglary and see if you can get away with it." LOL. Trump was basically encouraging people to commit a felony, just so he could prove a point about voter fraud by mail. There are not words for how stupid that is.

The system seems pretty outdated but it’s going to take some serious transparency to get people to trust any change in voting laws. Heck, it’ll take a ton more transparency to get people to trust current voting results.

Free voter ID at 18yo.
Retinal scanner.
Hand print recognition.
Keep elections open for x number of days.
Employers required to give PTO days for x number of days during elections.

Idk. I bet we got some people who are both very intelligent and apolitical that can come up with something. Maybe not in two months though.

No. There is a reason nobody in the world does mail in voting unless they are trying to cheat the electorate. Proving your identity and demonstrating you have enough interest in exercising your right is a basic part of the process. Mailing ballots is next to forcing people to vote and not holding anyone to personal responsibility.

That is not true. Colorado had universal mail-in voting in the 2014 Senate election that Corey Gardner, a Republican, won. There was no evidence of voter fraud in that election. NONE.

Trump's antics in North Carolina have just made this a much harder sell for his case. I really can't believe how stupid that was. He was literally trying to make the case against voting by mail, by encouraging his supporters to commit fraud through voting by mail.

... but Biden is the idiot, right?

That experiment does nothing to quell the spector of widespread chaos and cheating in a nationwide election especially given the hatred in this country. It seems this issue is down party lines which is odd and telling.

You have no proof that there would be "widespread chaos and cheating in a nationwide election". That is nothing but conjecture. The fact that there wasn't any of that in Colorado... and a Republican candidate won a close election, certainly doesn't help your case.

Your side got played again and you may not realize it yet. The media/lefty freak out about a Trump voter maybe voting twice is resulting in more doubt about mail in. Gotta make sure no Trump voter votes twice and.......by default shining light on the fraud your party wants.

Im voting at least twice. I think with the double voting plus Vlad’s 2020 memes, Trump might be able to push this thing across the goal line.

This week I received a letter via USPS. It had my street number, but a totally different street.

I dropped it in a mailbox in another town I was in. 2 days later it arrived to my mailbox again.....

I’m going to vote by mail. So will my 5 dogs. I’ll also vote absentee as will the dogs and probably the neighbors cat. I will vote in person too.
Vote early, vote often.
I’m kinda required too as I’m still registered as a Democrat
