That 98% is the protestors, not the protests.

The BLM protests from May 26 to August 22, 2020 averaged 6 violent protests per day And did almost 2 billion dollars worth of damage.

It's funny from the perspective of the truckers your post applies beautifully to what the government is doing.

Just because they are a minority in a mob doesnt mean they dont have rights. This is the very thing we have been fighting in this country since its formation. But I guess as soon as its politically convenient we can just forget all our changes from the Civil Rights Era.

I answered that in a response to your other question.

When government slips it's chain, any amount is justifiable to return it to the leash. I consider the convoy protests a disproportionately measured response to fascist leaders who portrays them as racists and Nazis while emulating Goebbels, using industry as government extension of police and military to coerce them. Classic fasces, heartily encouraged by Biden.

If talk fixed government overreach, it already would have. Overreach you say is wrong, but then proclaim they should protest in a field because it "harms'. Government abuse harms and equivocating encourages more of it. Stop fence-straddling and stake out a principled position.

I don’t understand the support of blocking roadways. Fully support their right to protest and think their requests are reasonable. Go circle your trucks around government buildings or the places where the politicians live who have the power to change the rules. Why the desire to interrupt the lives of people who you don’t oppose?

I agree with this. I'm not a fan of protests interrupting the lives of normal people just going about everyday life.


But my petty side likes that this is a massive headache for Trudeau. He seems like a douche bag IMO.
