Funny and stupid post.
I have been labeled negavol and that is fine because people that hang labels on people have small minds. What is funny about this is the fact I earned this label while speaking out about Dooley the past few years. Now you want to blame negavols for Dooley? Ironic.
I am not anti-Butch. I have never said fire him. The fact is he is the man for at least the next couple of years. All we can do is hope that it all comes together. That being said, I will speak about any glaring problems that I see. I will not blindly follow someone just because they wear orange and their checks are signed by The University of Tennessee. Some of you people need to learn to separate between honest criticism and wanting heads to roll.
I never called you a negavol, I guess you labeled yourself that. I was talking about the negavols on here that are saying fire the offensive coordinator, fire the defensive coordinator, etc. I take it you never have. With regards to labeling people, I must respectfully disagree, I mean what would you label people who continually have nothing good to say about the players and coaches with no positive comments? I think "negavol" pretty we'll sums it up. CBJ and staff are doing some things right. I think the term is more accurate than stupid. Hang in there self proclaimed negavol, you to may change your opinion in a few years.
GBO!

True, I have never really had a problem being called a negavol. I do, however, take great offense to being blamed for perpetuating the Dooley fiasco. Sorry if I have said anything to offend you. Ask anyone who knows me here, Dooley is a raw nerve with me.

Blindly throwing praise does just as much to impact a program as throwing critisism, none. The all is well approach is no better than the negavols you like to rip. At least the negavols are living in the now and aren't constantly pointing to an imaginary future of sunshine and touchdowns.

Work on our "craft"... and the tweet about how the offense is nowhere where it should be?

That's not about the team. That's about learning new ideas.

I think CBJ woke up and realized that he may have to tweak his offensive philosophy against SEC talent.

I think we will see different plays/formations against KY.

More quotes from presser:

"I'm so sick of this job already. I thought Tennessee would be a great place until I met the imbecile fanbase."

"I spoke with Dave Hart this morning and I recommended he hire David Copperfield to turn this program around."

Ya know. Just more coach speak.

It only took the wonderkind 11 games to figure that out?

Brilliant!

when wylo agrees with you, it is time to reconsider.

and when johndoevol goes against you.... .

It means nothing because who the hell cares what johndoevol thinks anyways?

Nobody cares what I think either. So we are alike, only different.
but johndoevol takes himself way too seriously.

At least he didn't lose to Louisiana Monroe. I mean, it's not like he's Nick Saban or something.

Wake up idiots. This is not basketball. A lot more moving parts. Will take time.

No problem bro you didn't offend me at all. I have been labeled a "sunshine pumper" and take no offense. I am a fan who supports the players 100% because they chose to bring their talents to big orange country. The coaches get my support until they prove otherwise. Simply put, we won't know about CBJ, for sure, until about two years from now. However, I believe CBJ has us on the right road and THE PLAYERS AND COMMITS BELIEVE IN HIM!

GBO!

angry? really? I don't feel angry. Maybe you're right.

I prefer to think we just have a fundamental difference of opinion.

You think sunshine is around the corner and talk about what's coming as if its truth. But you don't know that.

I think the dumpster fire we're in is still growing and am using the results to point to the upcoming truth as I see it.

Neither person is right, we just view things from different angles.

I don't mean to be disrespectful, unless it comes my way first.

Wylo, I think you do not understand strategy, you need to learn when to attack and when to support, there is a time for each.

I hope we will join in the right effort to get our team to succed!

Go VOOOOOOLLLLLSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!

CBJ Monday Presser:

"We are looking to be 1 & 0 going into the off season."

Sounds a lot like Dooley's Year Zero BS

Interesting.

"You have to work on your "craft" at all times"

Especially the coaches

Never heard football called a craft.

"I see tremendous strides and progression in many areas."

Which areas? It certainly wasn't on defense or special teams.

'Success isn't totally measured by a bowl game."

"I am now going to backslide on my own stated expectation for the season"

"I see the progress everyday; sometimes that is not measured by wins and losses."

How about a single example of this progression?

:)

Talk amongst yourselves.

I'd have a few questions and responses for Jones today.

I really wouldn't mind if he did the team and university a huge favor and turn in his resignation. It would save the university a lot of money and time that could be used on the guy who is going to lead the team out of this muck.

Another coaching change isn't what the program needs right now.

The team has slid since we beat SC and lost Worley, but Butch has done an excellent job with recruiting so far and the perfect APR he pulled off this semester doesn't get enough mention, imo.

I don't know what the ceiling is with this staff, and I have some questions after the loss to Vandy---which is never acceptable---but I think we are on the right track. In full disclosure, I tend to wear orange-colored glasses.

You wouldn't be impressed with anything he said, would you? Describe for all of us the right thing to say after Saturday's loss.

"This loss is on me and the staff.

MY team came out flat, unprepared, and folded in the biggest game of the season with a bowl berth on the line.

Vanderbilt is a great well coached team and we failed to capitalize on their mistakes while making far too many of our own.

I failed to meet my own expectations for the season and vow to do everything I can to put disappointments like this behind us. Everyone should be expected to be held accountable for doing their job including myself.

I am severely disappointed for the Seniors and the Vol Nation as a whole."

This presser only lacked a bamboo reference. Otherwise, it was vintage Dooley.
