I saw what happened. Tennessee had an opportunity to hire good hire, only to see it get fumbled.

But I guess we shouldn't be upset with how the search went.

We tried to hire bigger names and they turned us down. We got the best we could get. This is a wake-up call for the fanbase on the perception of our program. No matter what we think, people don't see the Tennessee job as a destination place like they used to.

No he didn't, we had better players and we won. For the most part, we beat teams like Cinn. with our superior talent. CDD didn't outcoach anyone.

I was kind of "meh" When I first heard it was Jones. But the More I see & hear of him the more I'm impressed! I think he has great potential. With The right staff & Some key recruits I think we'll be on our way back!

Facts are facts.....not to bash anyone prematurely but....Dooleys team beat this guy pretty handily....so you think that hiring one of the FEW guys that Dooley won against is a way to motivate fan base? I love tennessee...but it is a fast sinking ship....

He seems a lot like Chizik when he took over at Auburn, and he won a NC in his second year.... Hopefully bUTch can do the same... and then immediately stop following the Chizik pattern.

Right, because we tried really hard in the NFL route. We really tried to go get Raheem Morris, Greg Roman, Josh McDaniels, Jack Del Rio, etc. Don't give me the BS line we tried all we could.

Use my brain??? I seem to be one of the few who IS using their brain....Butch Jones is not the man for the job...regardless of his win/loss record, they ALL came in inferior conferences....
