There is only 1 team that I hate more than Bama and that is any team that is coached by the Urban Legend! So as hard as it is to say, I am glad Bama got in.

The local sports guys in Columbus were convincing themselves that OSU would get in because their schedule was better and because OSU draws better ratings than Bama. The south was covered w Clemson and UGA and they needed another team from outside the south. Blah blah blah.

They were coming up with every reason under the sun, but not a single one of them could say because OSU is better. Because they know they aren’t. That blowout loss to a bad Iowa team was way too recent. And Wisconsin was overrated. OSU is the first team they played with a pulse. Bama is clearly a better team

Lol they are asking Finebaum if the CFP committee made the right choice in Gumps over OSU.

He solemnly answers “I do”...

Bet he is screaming inside like a school girl “YEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS I DOOOOOO!!!!!”

I hate all 4 teams but FU tOSU so freaking glad they didn't get in. Suck on that Herbstreit! Still think USC should have got the 4th spot, but at least it wasn't tOSU.

Love that OSU got snubbed. I think conference winners should be auto bids.

Don't want Bama to win it all. I hope Clemson embarrasses them.

If I had to root for SEC it would be GA I guess. Now their fans are full blast and I hate it.

Baker is sort of punkish to me but he's fun to watch on the field.

Who are we getting as coach?

Ratings will be lower than expected since the southeast is the primary region represented. The playoffs are great for college football but to be fair, all conference champs should have an opportunity and some at large spots should be available as well.

I am against teams getting in a 4 team playoff that don't win their Conference when there are 5 Power conferences. It shouldn't be allowed.

definitely agree...something has to change...the committee has yet to feel the fallout that they will receive before this is over...why even have conference championships if there is no bearing on the national picture...believe changes will happen...maybe as early as next year...we'll see...:)

GO AD FULMER AND GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Interviewing Sat... er Saban now.

He absolutely believes in the integrity of the committee. Wonder what the other talking point list has on it if they weren’t selected.

There is no credibility in national sports media anymore. None.

Not too long ago Saban was making a case for conference champions only to be in the playoff.

1. Clemson
2. Oklahoma
3. Georgia
4. Alabama.

That's the best four. Not a hard job this year.

Although, they need to figure out how to add 3 at large teams (bowl?) and give #1 seed a bye. If they can add another 3-4 teams, it will bring in so much more passion around the playoff. May have to pull back on the regular season and spread the wealth to get approval.

Docvoliday,Ohoh State got in last year, only to be waxed by Clemson 31-0.If you lose by 31 to Iowa, whipped by Oklahoma at home, anyone AND Herbstreit are simply delusional the buckeyes belonged in over Bama.
