Look at the resume. It’s that simple. I think putting them behind LSU was a pretty clear signal. If usc wins out and finishes with 1 loss, it’ll be a choice between 1 loss Tennessee or 1 loss usc who is a conference champion. That isn’t far fetched to think usc would get the nod in that circumstance.
It’s all just opinions at this point but I disagree with about every word you said. We’re in a great spot.Preparing myself for disapointment. If TCU wins out we're toast. The Committee places high value on conference champions also (USC/TCU) so thats two avenues of disappointment. And finally if LSU wins the SEC do they go to the PO with 2 losses? The only sure thing is Georgia win/lose. This is a frustrating spot to be in.

The one year that they would screw a 2nd 1 lost sec team would be Tennessee, just like the Heisman! If usc wins out and finishes with 1 loss, it’ll be a choice between 1 loss Tennessee or 1 loss usc who is a conference champion. Can they honestly sit there in their CFP suite and say with an honest face that TCU could even get close to beating any of the other top six teams? TCU is this years Cincinnati and Notre Dame (minus the invisible girlfriend). Such a crock!!!
I've been predicting that TCU will lose, and it will be an all Big10 vs SEC playoff........especially if Mich. beats OSU.Nope, of course it's all moot, since loser of Michigan vs OSU is out. No way both deserve to get in, unless TCU loses and the loser takes that spot. Assuming Vols win out, should be #2 or #3 in final ranking and that doesn't matter because #2 and #3 are essentially the same.
The godforsaken LA Market doesn’t give a **** about college football, pal. UT has been involved in BOTH the two highest rated games this season. It ain’t hard to figure out.Don’t confuse the purpose of the committee. Get the best 4 teams that provide the most eyes (ie $$). The LA market is a big one. That is more important than the conference championship.
Until USC jumps LSU, they have no shot. If LsU is still #6 after 12 games, USC needs hope and prayer. USC’s resume is trash
