CFP Show

Leave it to Kentucky basketball to make the CFP interview with Boo very short.

I’m just waiting for the “what is committee’s degree of separation between TCU who can’t win in a decisive nature to Tennessee who is blowing everyone out”

If usc wins out and finishes with 1 loss, it’ll be a choice between 1 loss Tennessee or 1 loss usc who is a conference champion. That isn’t far fetched to think usc would get the nod in that circumstance.
Look at the resume. It’s that simple. I think putting them behind LSU was a pretty clear signal.

Preparing myself for disapointment. If TCU wins out we're toast. The Committee places high value on conference champions also (USC/TCU) so thats two avenues of disappointment. And finally if LSU wins the SEC do they go to the PO with 2 losses? The only sure thing is Georgia win/lose. This is a frustrating spot to be in.
It’s all just opinions at this point but I disagree with about every word you said. We’re in a great spot.

I think they’re behind lsu because currently usc hasn’t played as tough a schedule. But their next 3 games are against ranked opponents potentially, and if they end up being a one loss conference champion that changes things. Hopefully ucla gets them this weekend though and it doesn’t matter anyways.

The one year that they would screw a 2nd 1 lost sec team would be Tennessee, just like the Heisman!

Until USC jumps LSU, they have no shot. If LsU is still #6 after 12 games, USC needs hope and prayer. USC’s resume is trash
They’ll jump them in the next two weeks. They have UCLA and ND, while LSU has UAB and A&M.

Don’t confuse the purpose of the committee. Get the best 4 teams that provide the most eyes (ie $$). The LA market is a big one. That is more important than the conference championship.

Can they honestly sit there in their CFP suite and say with an honest face that TCU could even get close to beating any of the other top six teams? TCU is this years Cincinnati and Notre Dame (minus the invisible girlfriend). Such a crock!!!

Nope, of course it's all moot, since loser of Michigan vs OSU is out. No way both deserve to get in, unless TCU loses and the loser takes that spot. Assuming Vols win out, should be #2 or #3 in final ranking and that doesn't matter because #2 and #3 are essentially the same.

I've been predicting that TCU will lose, and it will be an all Big10 vs SEC playoff........especially if Mich. beats OSU.

The godforsaken LA Market doesn’t give a **** about college football, pal. UT has been involved in BOTH the two highest rated games this season. It ain’t hard to figure out.

Obviously the committee doesn’t view it as trash, they’re ranked 7 in the country. And if they win out, finish the season with 3 ranked wins and a conference championship I guarantee you they will be in the conversation. Haven’t they always claimed the committee values conference champions when the resumes are close?

Not if they want quality matchups in the playoffs. USC would get destroyed.
