Since Gruden is gone I am officially on the Strong train. I think he would be a great hire, and save our recruiting class. I think he has the most upside.

That Dave Hart needs to make a strong push for Charlie Strong. His team came from behind and beat Rutgers who was picked to win that confrence at the begining of the season and has his team in a BCS bowl. I think he would be a great hire and could recruit his @$$ off at TN. It also seems that they are similar to TN in his offensive scheme and he surley could do wonders for our own defense with him being a coordinator.

risky hire for a team that needs a proven winner. 50-50 and pickem. would much rather have raheem morris.

I'm on board. If we make a legitimate push for Stoops and get rejected, I think we can (and probably will) do a lot worse than Strong.

Kent State and Northern Illinois are both ranked higher than ANY Big East team including the great BCS bound Louisville Cardinals....just sayin

Strong above Patterson is laughable......Patterson has a Rosé Bowl Win....from the WAC...Strong has Louisville ranked behind Powers Kent State and Northern Illinois....

Strong will NOT be the new head coach at U.T. He will stay in the A.C.C. and $$ is not an issue, according to the A.D. at Louisville.
Don't set yourself up to be disappointed.. Just settle for Jones at Cincinnati. He is the best candidate that we have that will actually take the job. No one else on the list wants the job....

I would welcome coach strong in a second. I think if we had the opportunity to hire him and don't we will end up looking back and saying "damn, we could of had that guy as our coach."

Respectfully disagree that no one else wants this job. Who wanted Oklahoma before Stoops went there? They had a great tradition but were in a huge slump before he came. Who wanted USC before Pete Carroll came and I could list more.

Please Charlie Strong may be a great coach but HE HAS NOT proven anything on the field...played a weak schedule this year and squeaked out a couple of the wins they had. And was handed his behind to him on a platter yesterday....so lets not go down that road again...please!!!!

3. Will be the next Kevin Sumlin and we will be sitting here thinking damn, we could of had this guy.
4. Knows the value of getting hands dirty and outworking on the recruiting trail.

Listen, I would love to have Jon Gruden but it doesn't look like that is going to happen. Next best candidate in my opinion is Coach Strong.
