1. Knows the SEC
2. Will not let players dictate and will have their respect.
3. Will be the next Kevin Sumlin and we will be sitting here thinking damn, we could of had this guy.
4. Knows the value of getting hands dirty and outworking on the recruiting trail.
Listen, I would love to have Jon Gruden but it doesn't look like that is going to happen. Next best candidate in my opinion is Coach Strong.
Why? Richt and Muschamp had never been head coaches?
From my research it's Hart's pick. I would bet this is a 100 percent done deal.1. Knows the SEC

Strong has proved exactly jack squat would be my first answer. Its Louisville, there he is a medium fish in a small pond (its a basketball school) If he comes here, he will be eaten and spit out by the SEC. He is not ready for a job the size of Tennessee.
And please just say yes to Patterson. Better HC and a much better defensive guy.
Seriously, dude.....think about what you just said, there. Racist to the core. What does the pigment of his skin have to do with his merit as a Head Coaching prospect? Let that sink in for a minute before you answer. I mean what do you propose is an impediment, because he is black, to him being successful here?Honest question. ... has there ever been a black ncaa head football coach maintain sustained success in the SEC or even all of college football for that matter?
Personally I think he might be our best option. But it doesn't appear that history is in our side for Strong being a long term solution.

How come UF didn't offer him?
You don't think his stock is higher now than when Florida was looking for a coach 2 years ago?
