I knew LSU had some interest but I thought he was interviewing at Clemson today?
Monte is almost 70 years old people, he took one of the hugest pay cuts ever to leave NFL and come to NCAA, hmmmm.. a big downgrade like that kinda tells me that he probably really won't even care that much, I mean who would want to work under their 30 something year old son when they are 70 and know a hell of a lot more about the game.
The thing about threads like this is that they allow people to make whatever stupid comments they want and then if they don't come true, they can dissapear. If they do come true they can bump them and pretend they were a genius all along.

I don't even know what to say to this. He might love his son enough to help him and this might be something he wants to do. I don't understand why you people are so negative.
Can you chew gum and walk at the same time? Maybe he is interested in helping his son get started on the right path toward a huge career as the head coach of the Tennessee Volunteers. Ever heard of them? He could be around his family and grandkids and move the program forward at the same time. What a crazy idea.Monte is almost 70 years old people, he took one of the hugest pay cuts ever to leave NFL and come to NCAA, hmmmm.. a big downgrade like that kinda tells me that he probably really won't even care that much, I mean who would want to work under their 30 something year old son when they are 70 and know a hell of a lot more about the game.
