Democratic Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker declared a state of emergency Wednesday as migrants are being dropped off in Chicago from Texas.

The declaration will allow state and local agencies to provide humanitarian assistance and resources including emergency shelter, housing, food, transportation and medical assessments, he announced. He also announced the deployment of 75 members of the National Guard manage the migrant influx.

Chicago Fire's cast is forced to stop filming after a Gunman 'fired several Shots at people' near production before a real FIRE broke out causing chaos

The team behind Chicago Fire was forced to stop filming after a shooting occurred not far from the show's production area on Wednesday.

According to CWBChicago, the cast and crew of the drama series were working at A.A. Rayner and Son's Funeral Home on the city's West Side when a gunman began firing from a corner opposite the set.

The assailant 'fired several shots at people' before jumping into a black SUV and escaping through an alleyway. The media outlet reported that it was not immediately clear who the shooter was firing towards.

Chief executive Chris Kempczinski told business leaders in the Windy City on Wednesday that McDonald’s workers are hesitant to ride mass transit due to a significant increase in violent crime.

He also said it has been a struggle to recruit more workers to Chicago due to concerns over quality of life.

“There is a general sense out there that our city is in crisis.”

Chicago has had at least 3 major corporations announce they were leaving the city in the past year or so. The CEO might want to make a plan.

Good watch. I originally missed it. This must be another Tucker fake opinion piece. This isn't really happening.

Aren't these people voting for the Lori Lightfoot's and Kim Fox's? Surely criminals can't vote to keep them in office. Nevermind they are not getting charged thus are eligible to vote.
