May be off base here, but have to wonder about an Administration that wants to suddenly make felons out of potentially millions of law-abiding citizens over firearms, but hey, if the Chinese want to fly spy balloons over the country, they are fine with it.
I don't know if it did and neither does anyone else. Nor does anyone know why the US is choosing the path it is.
It's easy to take pot shots at Biden over this, and of course the usual suspects are whining he's weak. But fact is no one knows enough to say.
No. It isn't. Army rangers fly in a plane that goes where they want and puts them in the position they want to be in to jump. You have no idea where or what this thing is. But maybe I'm wrong and there is no way that shooting this thing down could result in damage to persons or property.Mathematically, it is
Yes, how DARE anyone question Dear Leader Biden? Biden knows best. Now get back in your sheep pen peasants!I don't know if it did and neither does anyone else. Nor does anyone know why the US is choosing the path it is.

We know exactly where it is. There was this thing called radar invented in the 1930s. Really handy. I think we might have a couple lying around somewhereNo. It isn't. I realize, but my question remains.
For consideration, if this had occurred 4 years ago, with a verified Russian spy/surveillance balloon, over the same area during Trump's administration, Imagine the media's reaction and those on the left side of the aisle.
Per DoD, they're going to continue to monitor it as it travels eastward over the continental US.
I dont.
It's a balloon, not a jet airliner. The "debris field" they are so worried about its not going to be that bad because the craft isn't going to be spread out as far as a 500 MPH airliner would be.
If our government and military can't say with some accuracy where that thing will come down nor be able to look at a map and say "nobody for a hundred miles of this place" the incompetence is far worse than I thought.
