I absolutely believe if your net taxes at both state and federal level are zero or even negative then no you shouldn’t get a vote. State and federal separately. Hell you aren’t paying for a damn thing so STFU and sit down.
Is that in the Constitution? Should people who pay the most taxes get more than one vote? I don't think I like your system.

Makes sense, and I agree 100% in principle. In practice, it would take the repeal of a few amendments.

Interestingly, in the original text, the explicit right to vote was never granted by the constitution or bill of rights.

They already do through lobbying, campaign contributions, and influence. There would probably be little difference than the way things work now.

In principle, I agree with not getting a say if you don't have skin in the game.

The system is corrupt. No need to corrupt it further.

Oh I’m totally ok with repealing a few amendments. Let’s start with the 17th. And yes the only requirements on voting outlined in the Constitution were the reps abs senators and the electoral college. How states filled those seats and votes were left to each state.

Oh, well if we're going to go original, I guess women and blacks can't vote either.
You said certain things weren't in the Constitution. If you don't even know what the Constitution said or says, why even open your trap?

I am familiar with the Constitution. I'm also familiar with the fact it's been amended.

Ok, then what's your problem with others proposing amendments or rescinding amendments? Why bring up the Constitution at all in this instance? That's silly.

Before anyone answers this, do you actually know how the right to vote was originally codified?

I think that had to be the 19th Amendment in the 20's. Who was allowed to vote was left up to the states until then.
