Is that in the Constitution? Should people who pay the most taxes get more than one vote? I don't think I like your system.I absolutely believe if your net taxes at both state and federal level are zero or even negative then no you shouldn’t get a vote. State and federal separately. Oh I’m totally ok with repealing a few amendments. Let’s start with the 17th. And yes the only requirements on voting outlined in the Constitution were the reps abs senators and the electoral college. How states filled those seats and votes were left to each state.Makes sense, and I agree 100% in principle. In practice, it would take the repeal of a few amendments.
Interestingly, in the original text, the explicit right to vote was never granted by the constitution or bill of rights.
