Oh my gawd, I was working today and heard the news and can't imagine the hysteria and panic going on in here. I honestly hope I will be disappointed.

I never thought an air ballon could go east to west. I am not a meteorologist though

those triangle are markers not direction. If so is our own gov launching balloons from the CCP? I think it is crap

Those weather scientists can be a little shy, and funny about being harassed on socials. If you want them to keep presenting what they know it's best to keep them as low key as possible. That guy says he is part of the meteorological society for 40 years. It looks legit... but here's the thing.

If it was a weather balloon that got blown off course by the STRONG, and unusual westerlies this year (remember the "parade of storms?"), that would lend legitamacy to the chinese claims. would it not?

Fair enough..but post links not screenshots. We dont even know who tweeted it. You do that all the time.
If true, then are we launching WB at the CCP?

I don't give a **** who it belongs to. I fly airliners in those altitudes. They are gonna kill somebody.
