Chip Brown report: Texas A&M to the SEC

I hope when this is said and done, the words "Chip Brown" and "orangbloods" never come across my screen again.

What is the Ketch guys beef with TAMU? His attacks on TAMU and the SEC have grown by the day. I would think that he would be a little more reserved as the owner of a Rivals network.

i don't know that chip brown guy has been dead right so far. if anyone else was reporting it i'd think it was bs. what are your thoughts?

My thoughts today are the same as they were yesterday. I think Texas is back peddling their arses off because they realized that Ou and aTm would not just follow along. I think the greedy, selfish, egocentric dip sticks in Austin have become so full of themselves, they have been blinded for a long time now.

That being said, the "quick and easy" move to the PAC10 seemed to be an easy sell last week. After everyone looked at it a little longer, they realized it may not be the best thing.

I can promise you Texas is not in the business of "saving the conference". They're in the business of "looking out for Texas". Nothing more. Nothing less.

With that being said, f'em. I can live without having to deal with them with the exception of Thanksgiving night.

Personally, all this has done is revive my long hatred towards the forty acres in Austin proper, and counter Hat's claims that we (aTm) will not impact any of this changes to the Big12. I'd say, we have a voice, and its being heard.

i find it very hard to believe that the big-12 as it is now will make texas more money than a pac-16. so by that theory they aren't going to stay.

Agreed Droski. The other item that's come out in all this is Texas's own tv network. That little monopoly has grown old with everyone else. They're not willing to let that go either.

i've heard a lot about them having their own network, but to me it makes very little sense. there just wouldnt' be enough programing or eyeballs.

Has there really been much push back from Oklahoma? It appeared from multiple reports that OU was set to roll to the PAC10.

Are you a transplant to Texas from London?

When did people decide to start saying arse? It is painful to read. No chance you would actually say arse in a conversation, because it would make you feel the full weight of how absurd it is to make it come out of your mouth.

Do not spell theatre the wrong way either. Don't say you are headed to the straight to the loo when you get off the lift when you are in the elevator of a Holiday Inn needing to pee. Oh and when we say "football" we mean pigskin not soccer.

The folks in Norman, despite their success, feel the same way we do about Texas. They dont want to be told what to do by the whorns. That, and the money/tv/revenue sharing issues we've all had to deal with for the last decade.

Their BIG 8 self comes out.

Jackie Sherrill and a guy from ESPN radio Dallas were on Basillio's show this hour and both of them said they didn't see Texas and A&M separating.
