i'll just agree to disagree, but i don't believe the talent level is close to where it needs to be.

I think it is more likely that you faint when you see those same guys in a scheme that doesn't make them do a calculus proof before reacting.
I watched my old HS play in a state championship game Saturday. They played a much faster team and lost in a tough game mostly because of 4 bad fumbles in their own end. I mention it because the announcers on TV just couldn't get over how they always filled their lanes on D.
You don't have to be the fastest team in a great scheme where guys know and EXECUTE their job. There are teams much slower than UT that have held great O's... like Stanford vs Oregon. ND vs most of the teams they've played.
Is it "close to where it needs to be"? Closer than you think but there's still a good bit of work to be done. It is closer than it was 3, 4, or even 5 years ago by far.
The next guy needs to finish this class strong and build a team around UT's OL next fall.
